Mariners ahoy! Sit back and take in the views from this stunning 1st floor apartment located at the front of the harbour overlooking Borth y Gest's ever changing bay. Recently refurbished, this apartment has all the makings to making it a perfect break away for the family, including a secret snug for the kids to get away from the chit chat of the grown-ups, who will be guaranteed to be sitting in front of the large, newly-expanded front window, perfect for you to drink in the stunning views of the bay and the mountains beyond. Watch out, it's very more-ish!
This large semi detached house on the bay has been modified into two apartments; Anchor Deck (ref. 1150) occupying the ground floor and Topsail (this apartment) occupying the first and second floor. Both apartments have their own separate access.
Around the headland and within easy walking distance are other sandy beaches and coves. Further along are Porthmadog (1 mile), a harbour town with many restaurants, cafes, shops, leisure centre and the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland steam railways. Snowdon and Beddgelert are just 8 miles away, Portmeirion Italianate styled village (3 miles), and Cricieth (7 miles). Harlech, a World Heritage Site with its majestic castle, stands 10 miles away. Enjoyable local walks include the summit of Moel y Gest. All in all, it is a great destination for a family wanting to explore the delights of Snowdonia.

3 BEDROOMS: 1 Kingsize, 1 Double and 1 Single (with a pull out futon for 1 - please confirm if this will be needed). Bed linen provided.
SHOWER ROOM: WC & hand wash basin. 
KITCHEN / DINER: Brand new kitchen, electric hob/cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge. Seating for 6.
LIVING ROOM: Picture window overlooking the bay, real flame effect fire, comfortable seating, TV & DVD, iPod dock.
HEATING: Gas central heating and electricity included.
GARDEN: No, however the beach is only a short stone's throw away.
WiFi: Yes, free.  
PETS: 1 well behaved pet.
PARKING: Street parking. There is a space at the side of the house for unloading and loading luggage.
TOWELS: -At this time, due to Covid regulations, we are asking Guests bring their own TOWELS and TEA TOWELS.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 21 days before the starting date of the holiday.

Please note: A returnable £100 Good Housekeeping Deposit will be required before we can give the key safe code. Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of  preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. Nearly all our guests are respectful people where the bond is fully returned. We have a high proportion of returning guests who are appreciative of our service and the high standard of accommodation that we strive to provide. We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
