9What a View! - A window full of mountains. This family accommodation is located above Porthmadog Harbour and has unrivaled views of Snowonida Mountians and the sea. Next to the historic slate staircase that joins Garth Road to the Harbour below - a shortcut in it's day for Sailors living on 'The Garth', a hill above Porthmadog. The homely prepared house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms on Garth Road near a footpath to the beach and village of Borth y Gest. All front rooms of this 4 storey house have fantastic uninterrupted views across the Glaslyn estuary to a panorama of sea and mountain scenery. It is a 3 minute walk from the house to the historic harbour at Porthmadog, and just a little further on to the shops, cafes, restaurants, Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway steam train station, and museums. The bay and coves at Borth y Gest are 15 mins walk from the house, Black Rock Sands and Portmeirion village and gardens are just 2 mls, and majestic Snowdon mountain and Beddgelert (7 mls). This is a good central location for family get togethers in a large comfortable holiday property in North Wales.
4 BEDROOMS: 2 Double bedrooms (1st floor), 1 bedroom with a double and a single bed (2nd floor) and 1 bedroom with two single beds (2nd floor) . Bed linen and towels provided.
BATHROOM/WC: Bath with shower over the bath (1st Floor)
LOUNGE with large picture window with sea and Snowdonia mountain views, comfortable seating for 8 Freeview Flat screen TV and DVD (Upper Ground Floor).
GAMES ROOM: Next to the lounge with a tv monitor for games (Upper Ground Floor)
KITCHEN/DINER: Modern fitted kitchen with original slate floor and electric hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machime and dishwasher (Lower Ground Floor). Dining table big enough for 10 guests.
GROUNDS: Accessed from the Kitchen/diner on the lower ground floor to an enclosed slate patio with panoramic views, bench seating and deck chairs.
PARKING: Street parking.
HEATING: Gas central heating.
ELECTRICITY & GAS: INCLUDED.

Location is great for the town and ffestiniog railway which was the main reason for our visit that weekend- just perect. Just beware for adnyone with reduced mobility, the location does mean lots of steps, but this is mentioned in the description and is worth the climb!"

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
