Replaced with a bigger, highly insulated, newly built single storey beach house - completed May 2018.
Fall asleep and then wake up refreshed with the sound of the gently rolling sea when you stay at this fabulous re-designed and newly built detached beach cottage. Occupying a superb position on its own with magnificent sea views of Caernarfon Bay and the Eifl Mountains it is beautifully prepared and furnished. Stylish light fittings made of local driftwood adorn the high ceilings and wooden sighnages decorate the doors. A fully fitted kitchen, family bathroom with shower cubicle and ensuite shower room makes this a home from home that most of us would covet. Porpoises and seals are frequent early morning visitors to this coastline and if you like fishing or kayaking it's great place for sea bass and craggy shorelines. You will enjoy relaxing on the patio only yards from the beach near the small hamlet of Aberdesach and watch the orange glow of the sun descend below the watery horizon. The lounge area with 2 full length picture windows facing the sea ensuring you have the very best views possible while relaxing in front of the woodburing stove. The dining area has a further 2 picture windows and French doors to the patio. Listen to the crackle of the logs in the wood burning stove and watch the watery seascape as your relax and dine as you please. All three bedrooms, one en-suite, have sea or countryside views. Insulated with the highest quality materials, a Welsh slate roof and underfloor heating heated from the air sourced heat pump unit it will be cosy summer or winter. A small community run shop/garage in the historic village of Clynnog Fawr for your essentials is 1 mile down the road. If you can drag yourselves away from the beach, the nearest town is historic Caernarfon (6 mls). Medieval streets within the town walls hide curiosity shops, cafes, restaurants and now the steam trains of the Welsh Highland Railway starts it's journey from near the magnificent castle with it's prominent position on the harbour side. For a treat, try flights over Snowdonia from Caernarfon Airfield. Climb Snowdon from Llanberis lake (15 mls), visit Pwllheli (10 mls) marina, craft shops and a weekly market on Wednesday.
3 BEDROOMS: 1 bedroom with a Kingsize bed and an EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM/WC, 1 bedroom with a Double bed and 1 Twin bedroom with two single beds. Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels.
BATHROOM/WC with corner shower cubicle and stylish free standing bath and hand wash basin.
KITCHEN: Fitted kitchen with electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave.
LOUNGE/DINER: 4 full length picture windows with un-interrupted sea & mountain views, sofa and chairs, flatscreen TV/DVD. Dining table and two full length picture windows in the dining area and French doors to the patio.
GARDEN: Private patio to the side with tables and chairs. Not enclosed.
PARKING: Private drive to the chalet with ample parking but no turning space.
HEATING: Air sourced underfloor heating, wood buring stove, fully insulated and double glazed.
ELECTRICITY: Paid by £1 coin meter.
LOGS: Not included but available to purchase locally.
PET: Maximum 2 small pets - westie size OK or one medium dog no larger than a cocker spaniel.
LINEN: Yes for full weeks only (extra charge for mini-breaks or bring your own sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers).
TOWELS: No, please bring your own.
EXTRA: No cot or high chair at the property, please bring your own if needed.
SHED: Washing machine
Mini-break rules: A mini-break is a holiday for less than 7 nights and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Friday). This property will accept mini-breaks 21 days before the start date of the holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Access is alng a 50m grassy drive and parking is allowed to the front. There is nowhere to turn
and more than one car must be nose to tail. There is ample parking at the begining of the drive in the free car park.
There are 3 steps to the front and a ramp to the side,it is suitable for the less able but not for fully disabled as there are steps.
