To be replaced with a bigger, highly insulated, newly built single storey beach house - completion May 2018.
The beach cabin has been on our books for about 19 years and it was very popular with our renters. We are sure the new build will be successful and very pleasing for our guests, due to its rare and beautiful location.
Fall asleep and then wake up refreshed with the sound of the gently rolling sea when you stay at this fabulous re-designed and newly built detached beach cottage. Occupying a superb position on its own with magnificent sea views of Caernarfon Bay and the Eifl Mountains. Porpoises and seals are frequent early morning visitors to this coastline. You will enjoy relaxing on the patio only yards from the beach near the small hamlet of Aberdesach and watch the orange glow of the sun descend below the watery horizon. There will be a lounge area with 4 full length picture windows facing the sea ensuring you have the very best views possible while relaxing. The dining area has a further 2 picture windows and French doors to the patio. Listen to the crackle of the logs in the wood burning stove and watch the watery seascape as your relax and dine as you please. All three bedrooms, one ensuite, will have sea or countryside views. There will also be a family bathroom with both a corner shower cubicle and a bath. Insulated with the highest quality materials, a Welsh slate roof and underfloor heating it will be cosy summer or winter. A small community run shop/garage in the historic village of Clynnog Fawr for your essentials is 1 mile down the road. If you can drag yourselves away from the beach, the nearest town is historic Caernarfon (6 mls). Medieval streets within the town walls hide curiosity shops, cafes, restaurants and now the steam trains of the Welsh Highland Railway starts it's journey from near the magnificent castlewith it's prominent position on the harbour side. For a treat, try flights over Snowdonia from Caernarfon Airfield. Climb Snowdon from Llanberis lake (15 mls), visit Pwllheli (10 mls) marina, craft shops and a weekly market on Wednesday.
3 BEDROOMS: 2 Double bedrooms (one with EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM/WC) and 1 Twin bedroom with two single beds. Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels.
BATHROOM/WC with corner shower cubicle and bath.
KITCHEN: Fitted kitchen with electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave.
LOUNGE/DINER: 4 full length picture windows with beautiful views in the lounge area, sofa and chairs, flatscreen TV, DVD. Dining table and two full length picture windows in the dining area. French doors to the patio.
GARDEN: Private patio to the side. Not enclosed.
PARKING: Private drive to the chalet with ample parking. N.B. There is no turning space to the front of the cabin.
HEATING: Air sourced underfloor heating, wood buring stove, fully insulated and double glazed.
ELECTRICITY & GAS: Paid by £1 coin meters.
LOGS & COAL: Not included but available to purchase locally.
PET: Maximum 2 pets.
LINEN: Yes for full weeks only (extra charge for mini-breaks or bring your own sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers)
TOWELS: No. Please bring your own.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Friday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 14 days before the starting date of the holiday.

Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. Nearly all our guests are respectful people where the bond is shredded. We have a high proportion of returning guests who are appreciative of our service and the high standard of accommodation that we strive to provide. We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Access is alng a 50m grassy drive and parking is allowed to the front. There is nowhere to turn
and more than one car must be nose to tail. There is ample parking at the begining of the drive in the free car park.
There are 3 steps to the front and a ramp to the side,it is suitable for the less able but not for fully disabled as there are steps.
