A beautifully positioned two bedroomed, ground floor south facing apartment on Oakley Wharf, Porthmadog with stunning views across the harbour, mountains and out towards the sea - on a clear day Harlech Castle can be seen in the distance. The terrace doors open to a scene of bobbing boats on the river Glaslyn and Snowdonia mountains as a backdrop. Prepared in a minimalistic style reminiscent of the 70's. Situated on the historic Oakeley Wharf this is a quiet area on the edge of the town with a walk of 8 minutes to the Quayside shops and inns, playground and Highstreet beyond. The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway station is just across the bridge for the steam train enthusiasts. Part of the all Wales Coastal Footpath passes by en route to Borth y Gest (10 minute walk), Black Rock Sands, Cricieth etc as it hugs the coastline of this area of oustanding beauty of Llyn Peninsula. Portmeirion village, Harlech, Criccith and Beddgelert are also within 20 minutes by car. A public slipway next to the habour Masters Office is 500m away.
2 BEDROOMS: One with a Double bed, the other with two 3' 0" Single beds (with new memory foam toppers). Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.
BATHROOM/WC: Electric shower over a bath, hwb and heated towel rail.
KITCHEN AREA: Fully fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave and breakfast bar with 4 stools.
LOUNGE AREA: 3 seater sofa, chair with footstool to enjoy the views, New 32" Freeview TV. Full length patio doors with peaceful harbour, sea and mountain views.
GARDEN: Open plan patio from lounge extending to communal gardens and a sheltered sunny terrace to the side of the property with patio furniture - not suitable for unsupervised young children.
PARKING: Space for 1 car.
HEATING: Electric heaters throughout.
ELECTRICITY: Up to £15 of electricity included (considered enough for a week with considerate use). 50p meter installed.
WiFi: No but many cafes & pubs in Porthmadog have WiFi.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 21 days before the starting date of the holiday.
Mrs W (July, 2017): "Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the location being perfect for my disabled husband. Wonderful views and yet right in the centre of Porthmadog. Living room/kitchen very high standard but bathroom and carpets in bedrooms could do with attention. Despite this we hope to return next year."

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
