6Fancy a castle as your neighbour? Caernarfon Castle is just down the road from 'Ysgol Jos Bach' ( Small Jones' School) which occupies an elevated position above the Harbour and Steam Train Welsh Highland Railway line in Caernarfon. Discretely situated on South Road and dating from the early 19th Century this little school house has been cleverly converted into a lovely spacious modern holiday home in one of the most historic towns in North Wales. The spacious living room is comfortably furnished with contemporary furniture with a large galleried bedroom above. The old walled town of Caernarfon is half a mile away where historic taverns and small restaurants are secreted within the walls. From the doorstep the old granite steps leads down to the harbour and the narrow gauge Harbour Train Station and Castle. There is an excellent cycle path (1/4 mile) from the harbour along the old railway line. Excellent sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle (6 miles) and only 8 miles from Snowdon. Guest Feedback:
DC (Sept 2020): ?The house was immaculate, located only 10 min from Caernarfon castle by foot. There is a big Tesco and fuel station nearby. The view from the large windows was breathtaking... We very much enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to coming back soon!?
SS (Sept 2020): "Lovely views from the property. Is very well stocked with utensils etc... very comfortable, warm and clean. The housekeeper was very friendly. Would recommend."

Mr M. (Aug 2019): "This is a beautiful conversion and, while a few simple touches could make it great rather than just good, I was impressed with the speed that the owner dealt with a broken fridge- replaced the same day. Beautiful views from the window and balcony. Kitchen set up is good. We cooked quite a lot; but found that the Ainsworths Fish & Chips is very good!"
? Family (Aug 2019): "We had an absolutely wonderful time! Loved the house, stunning restoration and beautiful layout. The views are heavenly nd we travelled the area and mountains extensively. Thank you!
