Description

STS Grade 4
This extremely comfortable accommodation is a clever part of a large victorian house situated on a hill above Porthmadog town with fantastic panoramic views. It occupies the whole of the 2nd floor, but access is on a level with the owners' sunny rear garden down a few steps from the parking at the rear of the house. Once inside you cannot fail to be impresed by both the superb birds' eye views overlooking the harbour, Glaslyn valley & Snowdonia mountains. The interior of the flat is very comfortably furnished with a modern three seater settee, a chaise longue in the bay window and two big armchairs. The lounge has a stripped wooden floor and a large flatscreen TV. It is only a short walk to Porthmadog for excellent shopping and eating, leisure centre, steam train rides and museums. The village of Borth y Gest is just half a mile walk away with its harbour side cafes and numerous sandy coves along the coastal path. The stunning sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands and Samson's Bay are 2 miles away, Snowdonia mountains are as close as 5 miles away, Beddgelert and Snowdon 7 miles, Cricieth and its Castle 3 miles. Favourite attractions locally include Portmeirion village and gardens and the steam trains of the Ffestiniog Railway.

This is a single storey accommodation with access from the parking area 25ft away down a few spaced out easy rise steps. All rooms are on the same level and the door widths are standard size. The property is on a pretty steep hill above Porthmadog which is why the views are fantastic.

This was a last minute break, which totally fulfilled our expectations. The Bridge is warm and comfortable, with magnificent views across the harbour at Porthmadog. We have been here before and it more than satisfies on every occasion. The owner is close by, friendly and helpful and the property comes highly recommended by us. Many, many thanks for a lovely holiday
