AD (August 2023): 4.3 STARS "We had a comfortable stay. The bungalow has a beautiful view and is generally very clean and comfortable. We had very rainy, windy weather for most of our stay so couldn't use the garden areas. The surrounding area is very beautiful to explore. The welcome basket was appreciated"
DJ (April 2023): 4.8 STARS "Perfect week. The views are without doubt the highlight. We had a great week during the Easter holidays. Very comfortable cottage with amazing views from every room"
DG (Jan 2023): Excellent "A fabulous Christmas Stay. We stayed at Whispering Waves over Christmas 2022. The property is in a perfect location and is of a good size with 3 double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite. The kitchen/diner area is large and worked well for cooking the Christmas Dinner. The kitchen also houses a good size dining table for meals etc with stunning views from the large window. The lounge is also of good size, with small television and a log burner for those cold winter nights. The shared bathroom houses a bath and separate shower. The property is a stones throw away from the beach and is ideally located for Snowdonia National Park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and well looked after and we would not hesitate to book again"
CH (September 2022): 4.8 STARS "A lovely bungalow.Spacious,The best place we have stayed for the view, across the bay or towards Shell Island.A photographer's dream for dramatic, colourful sunsets and ever changing cloud formations.Wonderful drives into the hills or moors and walks on almost deserted beaches.Whispering Waves was a perfect place to stay to celebrate or Golden Wedding Anniversary. It was also suit a family"
VD (August 2022): Excellent "We enjoyed a week stay at Whispering Waves, and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was spotless, well equipped and really comfortable. The host left Prosecco, chocolate, milk, soaps and cake for when we arrived, which was a lovely touch, and were really appreciated. The views from the house were incredible, and it was less than a 5 minute drive down to the beach. All in all a wonderful holiday, thank you!"
GB (July 2022): Excellent "Stunning views from this beautiful property, outstanding. We had an amazing week in this outstanding property! The views from the main rooms and bedroom are wonderful and the propery really makes the most of this. Spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds, crisp bedding and soft towels. Well located for exploring the beaches, towns and mountains. Thank you for the extra touches."
BH (June 2022): 4.8 STARS "Splendid. It was hard to believe that this wonderful place was available at short notice! It should be booked up months in advance. It was spotless, stylish, comfortable and quiet. A great base for walking and swimming. The views are astounding.all in all, a wonderful break."
IC (April 2022): Excellent "Amazing views. The property is light, bright and welcoming, we were very comfortable staying here for a week. The large windows make the most of the spectacular views out to sea. The living room was cosy and comfortable for movie nights. The kitchen doesn’t have much worktop or cupboard space, so putting away food and preparing meals has its challenges, but to make up for it you get to sit at a table with that amazing view. There’s no blackout blinds or curtains in the bedrooms, we took magic blackout blinds with us which resolved that but it’s something to bear in mind if you need a dark room to sleep. The location is really good - a walk into Harlech took about 25 mins along a quiet country lane. You can walk to beaches - down the zig zag steps to the glorious Harlech beach, or a 30 min stroll to Llandanwg. You’re close to the main A road, so it’s easy to get around if you want to go further afield. Michelle the owner was very friendly, helpful and responsive if I had a query. We had a great holiday and would definitely return"
Kyle (October 2021): This home is amazing. Michelle was very responsive and the check-in was simple. This home has topped our list of best places to stay around the world. Very lovely view and accommodation."
Rebecca (September 2021): Very clean house in lovely location. Felt COVID secure, Great walk to Harlech along the beach. A few things which didn’t expect for price paid. A very bright street light outside 2 bedrooms with thin curtains. Shower head has to be held in en suite as fixing doesn’t work. Lastly was tricky to prepare food with lack of counter space - but only a problem if you really like cooking.
Amy (August 2021): What a wonderful place! We stayed here as a family with two young children, two parents and two grandparents. The house is very stylish with simply stunning views - watching the sunsets from the balcony terrace was a real highlight. The place is extremely clean, and with everything you could need for your stay. Michelle was a fantastic host, and left us lots of extras to make our holiday special. The location is great, with so much to do nearby: a gorgeous beach, a really interesting slate cavern, and Harlech only a few minutes’ drive away. Thank you very much!
Steve (August 2021): We had a great (Email hidden by Airbnb) Communication prior to the stay was clear, with prompt responses to queries. Check in was very easy and we were delighted with the place. it comfortably sleeps 6, is clean, comfortable and has amazing views. Michelle left a few little extras for us which were much appreciated. The location is great, with a diverse range of sights/activities (walks, beaches, castles, slate mines etc) within 30 minutes drive in different directions. The place was very child friendly as well. I would definitely recommend.
Sue (July 2021): Whisper in the Waves is a delightful contemporary home thoughtfully equipped to a high standard. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beds and bed linen are lovely. Wonderful views and lots of great walks nearby. Michelle very helpful on arrival and available when needed. Highly recommended!
Suzanne (July 2021): This is a beautiful house and a great location. It is a 10 minute walk down to the most amazing beach. The steps down the footpath are quite steep but safe. Well worth it to be on a long, golden sandy beach with very few other people. We swam in the sea - some of us without wet suits on! The outside BBQ had wood ready for our use and firelighters and matches were conveniently provided. A very enjoyable staycation. Thank you.
Sophie (June 2021): Pictures don't do the view justice! Accommodation is comfy and homely, with thoughtful touches and welcome pack. Beach within walking distance and lots to explore near by too. Absolutely stunning location, views are beautiful, host is super helpful and would love to visit again.

Sian (June 2021): Michelle's home was the perfect location. It has a fantastic sea view and is a short walk to the beach and Harlech. It was ideal for climbing the Rhinog mountains and there are lakes a short drive away for paddle boarding and other fun activities. The home itself has all the essentials with added personal touches which made the stay that little bit more special. It was clean and very comfortable. Michelle was an excellent host; she is easy to contact, replies quickly and is always helpful. Overall, this was a great holiday and would not hesitate to come back to Michelle's Airbnb again.
David (June 2021): A beautifully located bungalow, stunning views of the sea with beautiful walks close at hand. The perfect location to discover Harlech and surrounding areas. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
Bryony (August 2020): Michelles property is perfect for a short or long holiday. The house has all you need, immaculately clean, amazing sea views , and there is so much to do both locally and a short drive away. I highly recommend and will definitely be booking again in the future.
Harvey (July 2020): On our arrival at the accommodation we where pleasantly surprised by the pristine condition and homely feel. Our fears of the property been made covid safe where answered by the instructions left by Michelle and equipment provided.
The pictures really do not show how warm and cosy the property is with stunning views, throughout is tastefully decorated to a very high standard. There are plenty of walks in the area, you can walk down to a beautiful beach and walk up five minutes behind the property and there are breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. We will definitely be returning and would like to thank Michelle for the well needed weekend sanctuary Amanda and Harvey Manchester
Alesja (October 2019): Michelle's bungalow was in a superb yet quiet location. The views from the cottage are spectacular. The bungalow had everything we needed for our stay, it is decorated in style. We visited Harlech castle which is only 5 minutes drive from the cottage. Beach is only 5 minute drive or you could walk down the hill. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous week, despite varied weather, as we were constantly drawn to the amazing views from this gorgeous property. Whispering Waves is a comfortable, clean, spacious bungalow, tastefully decorated throughout. And plenty of hot water for those showers following a wet walk! We turned the dining table around during our stay so that all 4 of us got to see the view. Although we know the area well, Michelle's suggestion of a walk to Cwm Bychan was new and set us up for a week if discovering new walks. Highly recommend this lovely property and the scrummy welcome pack!
