The purple heather covered slopes of the Snowdon foothills surrounds this terraced cottage in the village. Like most Cottages in this pretty location, Village Cottage is Grade II listed. The cottage has a light and airy modern feel with a large modern convenient kitchen and a spacious lounge. From the door there are many excellent walks, either up hills and mountains or along the rivers to mystical lakes. There are interesting pony treks locally, a copper mine to investigate, lakes to fish in, to boat upon, or picnic beside. This is a fine central location for enjoying both the mountains and the sea as the coast at Porthmadog is only 7 ml down the valley to the golden sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands. Betws y Coed, Swallow Falls and Conwy valley 15 ml.
