This luxurious and modern duplex apartment is perfect for a family holiday overlooking the sandy beach (just 60m away) at Barmouth. There are 4 lovely en-suite bedrooms and a large open-plan living room in this recently converted former hotel on Marine Parade. With shared access with one other apartment, it occupies the ground and first floor with lift access to both. On the first floor, the spacious open-plan living room has fantastic elevated views of the beach, sea and Snowdonia mountains beyond. There is a small cloakroom/WC on this level and then 3 steps down to an en-suite bedroom (Bedroom 4). Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are all en-suite and are on the ground floor which can be accessed either by the internal stairs or the lift. There are no steps on this level. Bedroom 1 is the largest bedroom with views towards the sea. Barmouth has many returning guests that enjoy the stunning Snowdonia Mountain scenery around the Mawddach Estuary. The centre of the this popular seaside resort is only a few minutes' walk away from this apartment with variety of eating places, an eclectic collection of shops to investigate within the old historic town. This property is only 250m away from the railway station on the Cambrian Coast line. Our favourite walk is the Mawddach trail, crossing over the iconic Barmouth rail bridge to the George III pub for a spot of liquid lunch or a drive to Cregenna Lakes (31 minutes' drive away). Cader Idris mountain, which the local legend says used to be a seat for the giant Idris, is one of the best reviewed mountains in all of Wales and is just a 24 minute drive away. Harlech with its medieval castle and golf course, is a 23 minute drive. Porthmadog steam trains and Portmeirion Italianate village is 20 miles away (40 minutes' drive). Dolgellau the historical market town is only 20 minutes away and Torrent Falls is only 10 miles away. This outstanding accommodation in a fantastic location is perfect for a holiday with all of your family and friends.
