A very comfortable and spacious 'sea & mountain' detached single storey bungalow in a quiet sunny cul de sac in the seaside village of Morfa Bychan, 2 miles from the harbour town of Porthmadog. Situated only 5 minutes drive (or an easy 10 minute walk) to the nearby sandy beaches, with glimpses of Moel y Gest mountain from the bedroom and conservatory. This holiday home will be furnished in a contemporary style with quality furniture and is a welcoming property to relax in after scenic walks along the 4 mile sandy Black Rock Sands beach or an exhilarating walk up Moel y Gest mountain (1 mile). A challenging 18 hole golf course (0.5 miles), stocked fishing lake, a village shop and other amenities are within walking distance. Sailing, fishing, wind surfing and water skiing are just a few sports guests enjoy off Black Rock Sands beach (there is a shed at the property for storing your gear). Enjoy fantastic views of Snowdonia mountains at nearby Beddgelert, or the pretty harbour village of Abersoch, both within easy driving distance. Lovely walks to the neighbouring village of Borth y Gest where you can rest at the Bistro or Tea Shop for a leisurely lunch before enjoying the walk back via Samson Bay (details of walk available at cottage). Porthmadog, although only a small town has a variety of shops, inns and restaurants and leisure centre/pool. It is home to the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway where a historic trip into the mountains can be enjoyed. Visit castles at Criccieth (5 miles) and Harlech (10 miles). A must do is the famous Portmeirion 'Italianate' styled village (2 miles). Excellent central location for enjoying Snowdonia, North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula.

2 BEDROOMS: 1 Double bedroom, 1 bedroom with choice of two singles (2' 6") or Kingsize bed - Please tell us at the time of booking if you want a Kingsize bed or 2 single beds. Bed linen is provided, towels are available to hire.
SHOWER ROOM/WC: Electric shower, toilet, hand wash basin, heated towel rail and shaver socket. There is a 21cm step to get into the shower cubical which has a nonslip surface.
KITCHEN with electric ceramic hob and double oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine.
LOUNGE with Smart 43" flatscreen TV, Freeview and DVD.
DINING ROOM: Dining table and chairs with well stocked bookcase and a good choice of DVDs and games.

It's in a quiet, peaceful residential area, with a takeaway, convenience store, bar/restaurant a short stroll away, and a lovely, sandy beach within 10 minutes walk. Pretty Porthmadog is a few minutes away by car and has every type of shop you could need. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area, so this property has it all - the opportunity to chill out and relax, or to get out about sightseeing or being more active. We needed to contact the owners over a small matter and they were really helpful, responding quickly to ensure that issue was solved. I can't recommend this beautiful house enough! I'm sure we will return soon"

As soon as we walked in through the front door it felt like home. For the peaceful relaxing holiday we were looking for it was perfect. The totally enclosed back garden was ideal, as we have two small dogs, furthermore it was not overlooked by any adjacent properties so it was totally private. The garden itself was well stocked with mature plants and shrubs and there were a number of feeders that attracted all sorts of birds throughout the day. We found it a pleasure just sitting in the conservatory watching the birds come and go. There is a convenience store and a fish & chip shop in walking distance just around the corner and it is about a 15 minute easy stroll to the beach. For us everything about it was perfect"

Entrance to the property:
There is a step up to the front door. This property is all on one level. All doors are of standard width. There is a shower room with a 30cm step up to the large shower cubicle. There is a grab rail to assist. Access to the garden is from the conservatory. There is one step down to a mostly paved patio which is enclosed.
