With all rooms on the ground floor and level access to the many shops in Porthmadog the convenience of this property means that it is ideal for all guests . The 10ft wide picture window in the living room opens the apartment to the ever changing scene of the tide, bobbing boats and wildlife before you in the harbour - perfect for relaxation in the evening sun. A short walk from the property will lead you to the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland railway and the station's popular bar/restaurant. Porthmadog has many restaurants, cafes, shops, and a leisure centre. Snowdon and Beddgelert (7 miles), Portmeirion Italianate styled village (3 mls). Harlech, a World Heritage Site, with its majestic castle stands 10 miles away.

FIRE SAFETY NOTICE:
Due to new fire regulations we need to make guests aware that in the event of a fire that bedroom 1 & 2 could be cut-off from from one another IF there is a fire in the kitchen or living area. In this situation then occupants in Bedroom 2 may have to escape via the window. Please feel assured that this apartment has interconnected smoke & heat alarms for guest safety)

"A relaxing week watching the tides. Port View Apartment was the perfect base to enjoy the restful harbour at Porthmadog from our comfortable armchairs. Occasionally we left our apartment to enjoy interesting shopping, three heritage railways and amazing views in every direction - all within a few minutes walk. This was our 10th year on holiday at Porthmadog as we simply can not find anywhere better!"

Places is easy to find and parking couldn't be better. Flat well equipped and cosy. Great new bathroom and kitchen . Tv and WIFI worked well
Location couldn't be better for shops , restaurants takeaways and of course the little train so we didn't venture too far. easy work to Borth y Gest which is a lovely place along the coastal walk. Only cons were a couple of maint issues. The front door is a bit stiff , the radiator in the bathroom wouldn't heat up and the double mattress wasn't comfortable so may need turning"

No washing machine as no space for one. But absolutely brilliant for views of the rising and falling tides in the harbour. Right next to the ffestiniog railway."

The weather was cold for the time of year but the heating was on and the rooms soon warmed up. The view overlooking the harbour is very picturesque and it is interesting to watch the boats going in and out. STS were most efficient with admin and all in all its a little gem of an apartment. I would stay there again"

Access Statement

This ground floor flat is in a purpose built holiday property within a private complex. Approach is from a main road into tarmac drives throughout the estate.The designated parking is suitable for one vehicle and is in a well-lit area just 10yds from the property. Access to the flat is up one concrete step. The flat has a standard size solid wood front door leading into a compact hall area. From this area there are doors to the bathroom, bedroom and the open plan living area with galley kitchen. From the living area there is a sliding patio door to the patio which is down one step.There is good lighting throughout the property with both a ceiling light and a lamp in the living area, a strip light in the kitchen area and spotlights and matching bedside lamps in the bedroom.The bathroom room has an electric corner shower, hand basin and WC. Again there is good light with a ceiling light and shaving socket and light.The flat is quite compact and not suitable for wheelchairs.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds. In the event of a fire in the kitchen or living area, then occupants may have to escape via the window. The 2 bedrooms could be cut-off from one another in the event of a fire in the kitchen or living area.
