AP (October 2023): 5 STARS
"This is a very cosy mid-terrace property in Tanygrisiau. We stayed as a family with two teenage sons and they loved it. It is in an ideal location for strolling in to Blaenau Ffestiniog and riding the railway and Zip World. It's a short drive to Porthmadog and Port Merrion or you can take the steam train from the village station into Porthmadog and on to Caernarfon. The cottage sits in the shadow of the Moelwyn Hills and there is some fantastic trails and treks into the hills from the village. The walk up to the top of the Stwlan Dam, which forms part of the Ffestiniog Hydro Electric power station, is a must and the views from the top are awesome! All on a paved road, but it is long and pretty steep in places. All in all we couldn't fault the cottage or it's location and may return again"
JC (September 2023): Excellent "Lovely little cottage, well situated for a variety of activities, some excellent hiking near by and easy access to the main routes to take you around North Wales."
NRE (September 2023): 4.8 STARS "Lovely cottage as described with everything you could want. Great location and well set up for visitors"
KK (August 2023): 4.5 STARS "Lovely little cottage, perfect for our family of 4 and dog. Very considered utensils and maps which we utilised. The play park opposite was used daily and stunning views all around. Comfortable accommodation and a shower that worked well"
GN (April 2023): Excellent "We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We’ve had an amazing time exploring north Wales/Snowdonia, and the property itself has been a joy to stay in! We definitely want to come back sometime and would strongly consider another stay in one of your properties again" "An Amazing Place To Stay. Me and my friend had a fantastic time away staying in this cottage. The property wowed us as soon as we arrived. It was spotlessly tidy. I really liked the cosiness and charm of the property, the wood flooring, wood fire and more. The location was great, everywhere we wanted to go was within a short drive away, the railway, Snowdon, lakes, forest walks, nearby town. The scenery everywhere we went was breathtaking, a world away from home! I would definitely consider staying at this property again, I have nothing but find memories of my holiday"
DW (October 2022): 4.7 STARS "Great Property, Great Location. The property has everything that you need for a week away. The location is stunning, there are plenty of walks that can be done right from the property. If you love exploring then the slate mines are amazing. I would highly recommend go below underground adventures if you like adrenaline pumping adventure. The only bad thing about the property was that the beds could have been more comfortable but apart from that its a great place to stay" Thanks for the Feedback - which is passed on to the Property Owner.
AM (September 2022):Excellent "Another highly satisfying stay in this cottage. We were welcomed in the very clean house. It was our second stay there so we new what to expect and we chose this cottage. We were blessed with the weather. Long walks finished with the Trish and Chips take away (highly recommended). Amazing views, stunning weather, nice people around and comfy bed at night"

Mr & Mrs D: "Very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Weather was out of this world, walking in Moelwyn and Snowdon enjoyable, ate, drank and had a wonderful time."
Mr & Mrs G: "Comfortable cottage, beautiful environment and fabulous weather, what more could you ask for. Walked every day, books and maps really useful. Last day walked route 21 in pathfinder guide 10 and ended up having fish and chips in Borth. Unfortunately have to go home tomorrow but will be back."
Mr & Mrs S: "What a lovely home to stay in, the time has flown by. Steam train to Blaenau Ffestiniog and walk back; nice to do.Steam train to Porthmadog very pretty, can stop at Minffordd and walk 1 1/2 miles to Portmeirion. Conway castle and town worth a visit also Harlech and surrounding area. Local walk up the hill worth a look, waterfalls in full flow after rain."
