Guest Feedback:
MC (September 2023): 4 STARS
"Location fabulous, chalet functional, a bit draughty& door locks tricky. Heated blanket double bed very pleasant. Radiators appeared to be ‘locked’ seasonal? so, chilly. !!!"
AL (September 2023): 4.3 STARS "Stunning location right on the beach. One of about 15 properties of varied age. Inevitably, with an old chalet it could be a little chilly, especially arriving just as an exceptional September heat wave broke. There were plenty of electrical heaters, but we had been warned they were expensive to run. Kitchen extremely well equipped and lounge very comfortable. Bathroom would benefit from some shelves for toiletries, an old table would do. Information folder would benefit from some local literature, recommended eating places, local shops etc. Perhaps a visitors book?" We appreciate your feedback, and we've relayed it to the Chalet owner. We will investigate the necessary improvements to enhance the Chalet for upcoming guests.
DO (August 2023): 4.8 STARS "Perfect old skool beach house. Our second stay, we loved it again. Not posh, but comfortable, with all you need for a quiet holiday. The intimacy with the sea is wonderful"
SM (July 2023): 4.7 STARS "Great holiday. Lovely beach chalet, comfortable and clean. Brilliant position overlooking the beach. Will definately be booking again"
TW (April 2023): 3.8 STARS "Great location. Lovely base camp ,has all amenities, shops a long way but Tesco's deliver to your door. Dog lover haven"
DO (August 2022): 4.8 STARS "Dolphins and sunsets! On paper , this accommodation is unimpressive - a bit old, a bit remote, no WiFi... In reality it is wholly magical. Enter the jolly yellow door and a cozy , well equipped and surprisingly roomy awaits. Unpretentious but so very welcoming. Beds all comfy. No idea about the telly - we never switched it on. Instead we sat in the charming front yard entranced by the glory of the view, and the intimacy of the ocean. Perfect , genuinely perfect for lovers of peace. A week here removed my troubles as surely as any drug. Magical sunsets, visits from dolphins, all just magical. One of the best places I've ever stayed in the world"
SN (August 2022): 4.3 STARS "Beautiful beach location. Fantastic location on Aberdesach beach, the only noise is the sea! Lovely sunsets and our dog loved the freedom of being right on the beach. Traditional beach house, compact bedrooms but kitchen is fully equipped, although the small shower cubicle was a squeeze for my 6 foot boys! Wheel barrow is provided to help transport your belongings but only a short walk from the car. No wifi so if you want modern living, this is not for you! We even had plenty of sunshine too and a chance to relax."
JB (May 2022): 5 STARS "A truly relaxing place. We spent a lovely week in this well equipped beach chalet. We sat and watched the tide going up and down with seabirds all around. A fantastic walk along the beach with the dog and the view of the mountains and the beaches on Anglesey . The chalet was spotless and lovely comfy beds"
The W Family (November, 2018): Good "Beach chalet was clean. Beautiful location."
L. B. (Aug, 2015): "Have just returned from a fantastic holiday in the above beach chalet. The chalet was well equipped and the setting was absolutely glorious. Did not want to come home the calm and tranquil setting was exactly what we needed. We would recommend this location and will definately be making a return visit."
Mr & Mrs T: "We had a lovely week in May. Wall to wall sunshine, BBQ every night and the red ball sunset was unique. Kira loved the walks from the door. A special time was had by all."
