Porthmadog has a good variety of shops and eating places and is a good central location for the mountains of Snowdonia and the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. Across the harbour are the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland railways. Snowdon and Beddgelert are 7 miles inland and the beautiful stretch of sandy beach at Black Rock Sands is 2 miles. Portmeirion village is just 2 mls along the river for a relaxing day out and Cricieth town and castle just 5 mls.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice in the Holiday Season (from Easter to October Half Term) - only if the holiday start date is within 30 days. Out of the Holiday Season (Between October to March only - NOT including Christmas New Year's Eve and February Half Term weeks) which can be booked at anytime.

Please note: A returnable £100 Good Housekeeping Deposit will be required before we can give the key safe code. Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. The Deputy replied: "Unfortunately, lots of guests mixed cleanliness with decoration. For example if walls have marks and they need painting- guest will think they are dirty. If floor has scratches and marks- they will think we didn't mop it etc. It's a tricky one. If there's any specific cleaning feedback, I would really appreciate the information."

Access Statement

From the car park there are 2 steps up to a gravelled area and then a 7" step into the property through a standard width door. There are two French doors into the kitchen area of the lounge diner, but the height of the step is more than 10". The floors are laminated and it is considered that there is not enough room for a wheel chair.

Parking is in an allocated space 20m from the front door. Surface is tarmac with gravel to the front door.

Warning: This property is NOT suitable for less abled people. There are no hand rails around the bath area to help get in and out the bath. The floor space is not big enough for a wheel chair.
