Guest Feedback:
PW (March 2024):
Excellent "Great little hideaway and perfect for access to the village Would recommend"
JT (Christmas 2023): Excellent "Property was as advertised. Located next to the steam railway station in a complex of similar properties. The town has a good selection of amenities, eg supermarkets, cafes, pubs, etc. Also on the door stop of Snowdonia and great north Wales beaches."
KC (November 2023): Excellent "Peaceful few days away from work. Lots to go and see on the door step, just right for the two of us. We have come home very relaxed, thank you."
DH (October 2023):Excellent "Amazing place, lovely views and quite area, just behind the vintage train station but didn’t hear the train or anybody else was wonderful…lovely place Porthmadog. Friendly people and welcoming. Shops for everything and more! Very happy with the accommodation it was clean and very tidy. Easy to find and parking was perfect. It was very homely and we really enjoyed everything about the place. The beds and sofa was perfect. Nice to have the telly on in the evening and added extra was the wi-fi!!! Thank you for the Welsh cakes you had left for us! Amazing place, host and area. Only one negative was the shower which worked and was able to wash ect but the pressure was very low so we used it on eco so it stayed warm and was fine, not the hosts fault that the area doesn’t have high water pressure! Thanks again you have a little gem on your hands!"
JB (October 2023): Excellent "Our holiday was perfect from start to finish the flat was lovely and clean and very comfortable and well equipped. The area has lots to do we loved the steam train ride and visiting the many castles and beautiful beaches, we went on some stunning walks with our dogs and was made very welcome in the restaurants pubs and cafes with the dogs. We will definitely be coming back."
EP (October 2023): 4.5 STARS "Good Stay. Nice location overlooking the marina although Porthmadog itself seemed a little 'bleak' with quite a few closed up shops which I guess is similar to most high streets these days especially once summer trade is over. The property was pleasant enough and very clean but if you like a hard mattress and a hairdryer this is not the place for you. We will look at booking again though as we loved the surrounding beaches for our dog to run on although I will remember to pack my hairdryer"
MU (October): 4 STARS: "Nice place, clean, excellent location. Very pleased."
CM (September 2023): Excellent "Lovely place to stay. We have stayed here before and it is really lovely. A good central spot for exploring the area. A well equipped property and very comfortable. Ideal for just the two of us. Plenty of eating places in the vicinity"

NJ (July 2023): 4.7 STARS "Lovely apartment with great outlook. Me, my partner and our dog. It's a great apartment for a a few days in Porthmadog. Close to the high street and heritage railway station but very peaceful. The apartment looks over the harbour and there are a couple of deck chairs to sit outside the patio doors and enjoy the view. The apartment itself is very well furnished and comfortable. There is a well stocked kitchen, good shower, and comfortable bed. All in all a really nice place to spend a few days"
DN (July 20230: Excellent "Lovely flat. First time visitor but will definitely be back again. The flat has a lovely view out onto the harbour while being tucked out the way keeping it nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable and easy to get a good nights sleep, there was ample storage in the wardrobe for clothing and the bedside units perfect for everything else. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want for a few days away and plenty of space in the fridge. Living space is nice and bright, there are a couple of folding chairs to sit outside weather permitting, though didn't get chance to use them. Made a perfect base for exploring the local area"

LB (July 2023):Excellent "Fantastic apartment in a great location. Stunning harbour view, well equipped and very comfortable."
BS (June 2023): Excellent "Perfect location. Everything about the property was ideal. The location next to the harbour and the Ffestiniog railway was perfect and parking very relaxed. My wife loved the accommodation and although small was “perfectly formed”. The back opened out onto the harbour where you could sit and enjoy a G and T"
LS (June 2023): 4 STARS "Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just what we needed for our 3 night stay with our dog. It was lovely & clean with a fabulous view. The bed was comfortable & the shower very refreshing. Very good value for money. We plan to go again"

S.W. (May 2023): Excellent "Thank you for a great stay, the accommodation was perfect in great surroundings, could not have asked for more, thank you. There was nothing negative that I can think of, the accommodation was perfect for my needs and had a great time meeting up with friends."
A.F. (April 2023): 4 STARS "Stunning area. Apartment decorated beautifully. Great instructions. Needed a few more kitchen utensils." Thank you for your feedback. After conducting an inventory of our kitchen utensils, we have found that our small kitchen has limited space to accommodate everything. Nonetheless, we have taken your input into consideration and have added more kitchen utensils.
JO (October 2022): 4.2 STARS "Great location, comfortable bed with lovely duvet. Shower curtain would be better moved out about 6 inches." Thanks for the Feedback - which is passed on the Property Owner.
Mr & Mrs M (September 2022): Excellent "This is a lovely flat towards the end of the complex looking over the river and the harbour. It is quiet and has a great outlook. It is much like a number of other single bedroom flats we have stayed at in South Snowdon Wharf. An acceptable size bedroom with comfortable bed and wardrobe space. Some might want a chest of drawers as well but it is a holiday flat so we coped adequately. Nice bathroom with in-bath shower and its notable for the fact that using the shower did not soak the bathroom floor it is well though out.
The kitchen /diner/sitting area has a view over the harbour through the large patio doors. Many of the flats have had breakfast bars close to the cooking area. It was good the this one didn't as it affords more space to move around. Equipment was satisfactory and my wife was delighted that this is one of the few properties that has an orange squeezer.Equipment worked well when needed. All in all a good property and we would use it again if it was available"

PS (September 2022): Excellent "Our stay at Port View Bach was really enjoyable, the apartment was surprisingly large for a 1bedroom and the storage space excellent. The bed was very comfortable and we had good night's sleep. The cooker and microwave were easy to use (unlike the last apartment we stayed in). Lovely view, would very much like to go again"
AW 17 Jun 2022: 4.8 STARS "What a lovely apartment in a stunning location . We stayed here for 5 nights and it was just perfect . Easy to get to other places in Wales, Portmiriann was my favourite. Try the Mood Restaurant across the estuary, perfect pizza and homemade burgers . We would highly recomend this apartment, so peaceful and relaxing , we loved our stay , thank you [Emoji Removed]"
IE 10 Jun 2022: 4.5 STARS "Port View Bach is lovingly cared for, and it shows. However, being of a "certain age" we found the bed too low to be able to lift ourselves up comfortably of a morning. Likewise the modern sofa did not provide good back support. Nonetheless, the apartment is in a fantastic location and its condition is a credit to the owner. My only real gripe is with STS Holidays. They provide a top-class booking service but fail to mention in the booking terms and conditions that there is a £100 security deposit required before they will release the key. The only mention of this comes when you have paid the booking in full - six weeks before your holiday."
JR (May 2022): 4.8 STARS "Fab location. We stayed for four nights at this great location. We had our dogs with us so we were pleased we were on the ground floor. The property itself was fine; right on the water and a hop, skip and a jump to the centre of town and the railway (which is why we went)"
RS (May 2022): Excellent "It was the second time we stayed near the harbour and were lucky with the weather again. The apartment was excellent and catered for all our needs and is in great and beautiful location for that part of North Wales, we’ll be back"
DI (Apr 2022): 4.7 STARS "We have to say our weeks stay was really enjoyable The apartment was in a great position for watching the activity in the harbour It was fairly comfortable as we would have preferred chairs instead of the settee It comes fairly well equipped and one suggestion we would make is oven gloves we would have appreciated them when getting hot dishes out of the oven We will definitely be coming back"

Excellent place to stay and all of the above would recommend to other couples.Although dog friendly it is not ideal as no space outside for them to settle and not be disturbed by people passing .

Greatly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful location, but lack of drawer space for clothing. A washing up bowl would have been helpful and would have saved using more hot water than necessary.. The shower curtain clung to the body and would be improved by siting the shower curtain rail further out from the bath. At this time of year it was difficult to find establishments that provided evening meals.
