Description

STS Grade 3+

Situated below the mighty Eifl mountain is a row of cottages, built at the turn of the last century in the historic fishing village of Trefor, on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. With three bedrooms, this terraced property has been very nicely prepared for couples or a couple with children, featuring a large garden with an outside dining room and a lawned area. There is a dramatic coastal path - with stunning sea cliff views - from the doorstep and a footpath up the mountain to the iron age village of Tre Ceiri. The small sandy beach and harbour is a quarter mile walk from the house - these gems are some of the Llyn's best kept secrets! The village, which has no through traffic, has a village shop/post office & 'Clwb Y Twr'- a bar. In the summer months porpoises, dolphins and seals can be seen along this coastline of outstanding natural beauty. A country house bar/restaurant for a relaxing drink, occasional entertainment and meals is in Clynnog Fawr (2 miles). The historic town of Caernarfon and market town of Pwllheli (both 10 miles) have a variety of shops, restaurants and inns. Caernarfon castle is a World Heritage site on the harbour and Segontium Roman fort is on the outskirts of the town. A 20 mile drive takes you to Llanberis village and the begining of the Snowdonia mountains and the Snowdon Mountain railway - you can choose to walk up or take the steam train to the top. Choose from the beach in Trefor or any other private beaches tucked into the coves along this quieter part of the Llyn Peninsula.
