Guest Feedback:
EW (September 2023): 4.7 STARS "A lovely location. Unfortunately we didn't book with sts holidays but they were very helpful and would do so in future. We loved the position and artistic decorations including the tidal clock. The information on the use of the appliances could have been better and the TV could have been more up to date plus an I player" Thank for the Review - which are always passed on to the Property Owner for their attention.
JW (August 2023): 5 STARS "Great apartment. Lovely apartment with a great view of the harbour and a great location. The only thing that let it down was the small TV and no fan for the bedroom as we don't like leaving any windows open at night. I surprised at how much storage space was available in both the kitchen and bedroom with having plenty of hangers. We where surprised by the size of the large shower which is a good bonus as we are both large people. There was a nice welcome gift left a small bottle milk and same Welsh cakes which was a nice gesture. The only thing I would suggest is a small freezer. Would definitely consider coming back to this apartment in the future" Thanks for the Review - which are always passed on to the Property Owner. We don't think people around here would think twice about leaving a downstairs bedroom window open at night - but we can appreciate that some people would be wary od oing that..
JS (August 2023): 4.7 STARS "My Porthmadog holiday. We had an enjoyable stay ,the apartment was clean and tidy the only let down was the small tv. The scenery from the apartment was lovely and it was nice and quiet and it was a small walk into Porthmadog. Thanks for the Feedback - which are always passed on to the Property Owner.
RP (July 2023): 4 STARS "Amazing how much storage in such a small space!!. Pity the crockery was so big and clumsy. Also, from the brochure we were misled into believing the property was at tip of the Wharf facing the open estuary" Thanks for the Review. The Property Owner has commented "The crockery is completely normal sized. I don't think the description is at all misleading." STS stopped producing Brochures since Covid-Lockdowns and this property came with us after that time. We believe that the photos and Description make it clear where it is located. We can only assume that the Guest got mixed up with another property, and perhaps Booked the wrong one?
CL (July 2023): 4.2 STARS "A nice place in a good location. Written instructions for the microwave and the electric cooker would be helpful. Likewise the Wi-fi code" Thanks for the Review. We have now sorted out the issue with the WifFi Code. The Property Owner will be providing instructions for microwave etc shortly.
CC (April 2023): 3.3 STARS "A pity the hot water was a non event and gave up after only a few seconds. No instructions for the cooker or microwave. Never managed to make the cooker hob work." Thanks for the Feedback, which are always passed on to the Property Owner for their consideration. Please report any issues as soon as you can so that they can be attended to promptly. There is now a House Manual inside the apartment to help guests.
KS (April 2023): 4.8 STARS "Great apartment and location. Had a great 4 night stay here. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but there’s plenty to do between showers. Location fab and we even caught a fish from the harbour. Highly recommend the local pubs for food (and especially Yr Hen Fecws). 2 slight problems - couldn’t find a password for the wifi and hot water not hot enough. Sts dealt with it promptly by email so wouldn’t mark down for that. Would use again if visiting Porthmadog again"
JR (October 2022): 4.7 STARS "Excellent position. Great position on harbour. Very clean and bright. As others have commented instructions for use of appliances, TV, oven etc would help considerably! Shelves in kitchen very high a stepping stool would certainly be a bonus!" Thanks for the Feedback - which is passed on to the Property Owner.
MM (September 2022): 5 STARS "Nice place. Very nice location. Very clean. A very very small kitchen area to work in. Could do with an information pack for appliances and TV. but overall a lovely stay. Could do with some chairs for outside sitting" Thanks for the Feedback - which is passed on the Property Owner.
DC (September 2022): 4.7 STARS "We had a lovely break in well appointed and excellently positioned property. When we had a problem with the shower someone was round to fix it quickly. Some instructions on how to use the heating/appliances would of made the stay more enjoyable." Thanks for the Review - which are passed on to the Property Owner.
SC-B (September 2022): 4.8 STARS "A nice apartment. The apartment is in a great location, very close to the high street with lovely views. Little touches like the welcome pack was most appreciated as was the bath mat for the shower. Apartment was very clean. The apartment is small but fine for 2 people. The only downsides were no Wifi (which we knew) but there was barely any mobile signal. Providing some leaflets of e.g. local attractions/takeaways would help as it was hard to look anything up using our mobiles. Also I couldn't reach anything on the top shelf of the cupboard and my husband only just about. Proving a step wild be helpful" Thanks for the Review - which the Property Owner also gets.
TC (August 2022): 4.3 STARS "The view across the harbour at Portmadoc was a delight to wake up to each morning. The accomodation was compact but met our needs for our week's stay."
DP 13 Jun 2022: 5 STARS "Lovely location and extremely comfortable with everything to hand. This is an excellent place to stay, with views from the living room across the harbour. There was ample storage in both the bedroom and kitchen, and it was very well equipped. The location is superb with only a few minutes walk to the Ffestiniog Railway and not much further to the town. It was very clean when I arrived and I would certainly stay there again.
