Guest Feedback:
C, R P & M (Jan 2020): "
What an amazing week... A great combination of chilling and doing stuff. Amazing beaches, especially Borth-y-Gest, so quiet. We walked up to the lake over the back and did some wild swimming - just awesome. The weather is everchanging up here. We've had mornings sitting in the sun drinking tea at the front of the cottage and cosy evenings in front of the fire listening to the wind howling. Thank you. X"
C & K (Jan 2020): "Had a lovely time at Cae Canol Bach, very comfortable, warm and cosy with everything you need at hand. Excelled walks, beautiful views and so cosy. Would love to come back in the Summer. Amazing food at 'Y Pengwern'. Met some lovely locals in there, made us feel very welcome. Thank you very much. X"
T, D  & D (Oct 2019): "We have had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The views are amazing. We had a lovely walk up to the lake behind the big house. Visited Zip World which was a great experience and relaxed thinking how lucky we are as my husband is 5 years clear of liver cancer on Monday. We'll definitely be coming back to visit. The cottage had all we needed. Thanks for letting us stay in this amazing place."
A & J (Oct 2019): "We have had an amazing time here, so peaceful and calm. It was exactly what we both needed to get away from our everyday stresses.  Our first full day we ventured out to Lake Idwal, a 3 hour walk and was stunning. My partner couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to propose. The next day we achieved Mt Snowdon and boy was that tough! The views were unbelievable and so worth it! To top off all of our adventures, we came back to this lovely cottage, put the fire on and had cosy nights to relax. Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future! Thank you and all the best!"
J, C & M (Oct 2019): "A fantastic short break at this amazing property. Location perfect for getting away from the stresses of daily life. Black rock sands well worth a visit. (Murphy the spaniel agrees!!) Also, Nefyn beach was amazing. The walk up to the lake was really nice and literally on the doorstep. Thank you so much. 10/10 would recommend."
A, T & M (Sept 2019): "We have had a wonderful week in this lovely remote cottage. Plenty of walks direct from the cottage which our dog loved! -Head up the back of the main house to the lake and onwards to the hills. Really recommend Y Manod pub in Blaenau Ffestiniog- such lovely owners! All in all a perfect stay to get away from it all."
N & J (May, 2019): "We have had such a lovely time here. It's been so peaceful and exactly what we both needed. Saturday night was perfect, fire lit and a glass of wine in hand, so perfect that James decided that's when he would propose! Of course I said yes! We will definitely be backs to enjoy this wonderful place again. Thanks for a lovely stay!"
A & G (May, 2019): "What a great escape from a manic world. We both felt as if we'd pulled the plugs out and powered down during out stay here. Clean, fresh air, lots of space and spectacular views all around. We wanted for nothing and Cae Canol Bach was snug and welcoming. A lovely base for exploring the surrounding countryside or just to chill on the patio soaking up the peace. Thank you so much for our lovely stay - Diolch. For anyone interested, the birds we saw - Buzzard, Red Kite, Carrion Crows, Raven, Herring Gull, Cuckoo, Pied Wagtail, Meadow Pipit, Robins, Redstart, Wheatear, Blackbird, Willow Warbler and a Dipper."
V & J (May, 2019): "Sat here writing this with a cup of tea in hand gazing out of the side door at blue skies, a crisp morning and total silence. How could any day begin in a better way? From the moment we arrived (after the laughter subsided from our venture up the drive!) we knew this cottage was absolutely perfect. Warmth, comfort, peace and total tranquility. We never want to leave! Wales is truly the most beautiful country and Cae Canol Bach captures a slice of this so perfectly."
M & D (April, 2019): "We spotted this little cottage from the road nestled at the foot of the mountain. It took our breath away. On arrival, opening the door it happened again, and as we explored the area over the two days it just kept amazing us. I love this little cottage and all its surroundings. I will come here again! The owner was amazing and such a wonderful host."

Visit Wales Comments (December 2019):
"Set in a very rural location one of three traditional properties where guests are advised that owing to the approach a 4x4 vehicle for access might be prudent at certain times of the year. The properties have benefitted from the works by the owner with each having balcony bedroom off the lounge with electric heating."
