The little Triangle Cottage boasts a superb mountain top location in the beautiful countryside above Llandecwyn, between the seaside village of Harlech (6ml) and the harbour town of Porthmadog (6ml). This 18th century farmhouse and its attached cottage is remote! It will please country lovers who enjoy being surrounded by mountains away from it all and who want to walk the hills and mountains from the doorstep. Mountain bikers are welcome to enjoy the terrain and there is storage for bikes on site. There are awsome views from the living room window and the garden of Snowdonia mountains, the estuary to Portmeirion village and across the sea to the Llyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island. The cottage is attached to a remote hilltop 18th century farmhouse. There is an inter-connecting door which is locked on both sides. Ideal location to explore the mountains and countryside, buy fresh eggs from 10yr old Gwion, and a picnic by a peaceful lily pad lakes, all in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Nearest village, inn and shop is just under 4 miles along a narrow country lane. Just 1 mile from the cottage is the new 8 mile Trawsfynydd Lake mountain bike cycle path! Guest Feedback:

"The view out of the kitchen window is stunning. It was a perfect remote base to explore snowdonia. Thanks for having us!"
E (October 2017):  Hi, a lovely warm and welcome stay by our hosts. Great location, scenery is great. Peaceful and relaxing after a trek up Snowdon. Looking forward to seeing the renovation/redecoration in the future. Thanks."
A (October 2017): Fabulous location looking out over the estuary and across to Snowdon. Cosy place, and excellent hosts. If you're looking for a remote spot away from it all, this is it!"
S (October 2017):  "In a stunning location and everything we expected when planning a trip to snowdonia. The house was clean and equipted with everything you could need, and in good distance of restaurants, shops and pubs. Overall it exceeded expectations and me and my boyfriend had a lovely rural get away."
A (October 2017):  "Stunning location, a magical drive up to the cottage. You could imagine Bilbo Baggins and friends sitting on one of the stone walls. Friendly and accommodating host. We certainly want to come back!"
J (September 2017): " Lovely peaceful place to stay away from it all, with great views when the weather allowed! Lots of walks nearby. Hosts very helpful and welcoming."
D (August 2017): " Had a wonderful time in Snowdonia - great secluded location for walks straight out the door and a short drive to local towns and pubs. Hosts were lovely, helpful and the cottage was very clean and had all the essentials for self-catering."
J (July 2017): "The cottage is in the most awesome place. It is beautiful, cosy and comfortable. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. Not fancy but exactly what is needed for a stay in the country. We were made to feel very welcome and could knock on the farm house next door if we needed anything. Perfect for walking. Easy distance to Porthmadog where we visited the steam railways. We were sad to leave and hope to make a return visit sometime."
Mrs H (Sept, 2015): "What a wonderful week, fell in love with North Wales' breathtaking scenery. The cottage was super 'up in the clouds'. The owenrs very friendly and nice. Fantastic views from the kitchen"
Mrs S (Aug, 2015): "We only had three nights, sadly, but it was absolutely everything we had hoped for.  A wonderful place - breathtaking views, completely peaceful, great walks from the house, really nice and helpful family in the farm.   The cottage itself was small, and perfect for the two of us and one large dog - it was clean, simple, and had everything we needed.   We had a marvellous stay and hope to get back there again.   If you want peace, quiet and fresh air, it is unbeatable."

Visit Wales Comments (May, 2016):
