A romantic cottage in the mountains above Trawsfynydd lake surrounded by the magnificent rugged beauty of Snowdonia. Beautifully prepared to please the more discerning customer, the owners have spared no expense in making this a most comfortable place to stay in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Under-floor heating guarantees a warm welcome whatever the season. The cottage is a beautifully converted stable attached to a refurbished 15th century farmhouse on a sheep farm, centrally situated between Bala (14 mls), Dolgellau (16 mls) and Porthmadog (16 mls). The village of Trawsfynydd, with its magnificent fishing lake, is 3 miles away where there is a shop. Visit the excellent mountain bike trails (3 & 5 mls), Portmeirion village (14 mls), sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands (20 mins) and the Ffestiniog Railway steam train at Blaenau Ffestiniog (14 mls). Various walks from the doorstep - either hill walking or tackling a few of Snowdonia's challenging peaks! Eat in The Grapes or Oakley Arms (9 miles).
1 BEDROOM: 1 Kingsize bed in spacious vaulted bedroom with beams and countryside views and access to a large balcony with patio furniture. Linen bath towels & tea towels provided.
BATHROOM: En suite bathroom/WC.
LOUNGE: Comfortable with slate floors and oak staircase to bedroom. 32" flatscreen LED TV with basic Sky, DVD and CD players. Telephone for incoming and 999 calls only.
KITCHEN: Beautiful room with electric hob and ovens, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
PARKING: Ample parking and freedom to roam the footpaths of this mountain farm.
HEATING & ELECTRICITY: Underfloor heating throughout. Price included.
GARDEN: Shared garden with owners available.
WiFi: Yes, but limited bandwidth available (not suitable for downloading games/films).
Washing machine available upon request.
EXTRA: Bikes can be stored in a locked garage - by request.

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
