A walkers paradise! The Mawddach river valley has a vast choice of walks from the doorstep. Cregennan lakes are a delight situated at the foot of Cader Idris mountain which stands proud above Dolgellau - its peak can be seen from the bedroom window at this cosy cottage in a quiet mews just a few minutes walk from the town square. This stone built end of terrace cottage extended to the roof has a lovely master bedroom. Comfortably furnished with a mixture of styles it is conveniently located for exploring the southern Snowdonia National Park and the sandy beaches at Barmouth and Fairbourne. The town has some good eating places, shops and old inns in narrow streets. The rivers Wnion and Arran converge near the cottage and the river winds its way to the coast (9 miles) to arguably the most beautiful estuary in Wales, with the iconic Barmouth bridge crossing the Mawddach estuary. Attractions nearby include mountain biking centre (6 miles), Tal y Llyn steam railway (35 miles), Zip Wire: Titan and Bounce Below in Blaenau Ffestiniog (35 miles).

Mini-break Rules for this Cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will accept mini-breaks at anytime as long as they start or finish on a Sunday, except school holidays. Non changeover-day mini-breaks can be arranged up to 28 days in advance.

A single £27 Booking Fee applies to all bookings and is included in the price shown. Bookings for 2 weeks will be eligible for a £27 Multi-week Saving. Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card.
We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
