A stone's throw away to this cute cottage is the very popular Antur Stiniog - part of the British cycling's national downhill mountain bike series in 2015 - and Zip World: Titan, the first 4 person zip line in Europe, Bounce Below - an indoor trampolining and netting activity area - and the underground tours of Llechwedd slate mine. Set within the area which 'roofed the world', this charming cottage offers a great base for Snowdonia. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a small mountainous town, host to some historic slate quarries which are now home to Zip World, local taverns, eating establishments and many shops. The harbour town of Porthmadog is 15 miles away with its bustling streets, shops, restaurants and popular harbour. The long sandy beaches of Morfa Bychan and Harlech are both just 17 miles away. Enjoy the cycle route around Llyn Trawsfynydd (7 mls) and Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin (14 mls). Betws y Coed is also only 11 miles away. Fishing lake 500yds from the cottage. A great central location for a holiday in Snowdonia.

Mini-break Rules for this Cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will accept mini-breaks at anytime, except school holidays where there minibreaks cannot be taken more than 28 days in advance..

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. This two storey stone cottage was renovated in recent years to provide a good standard accommodation in pleasant surroundings, which should meet most needs.
A well lit parking area with one step down to the front door.
Ground floor consists of a living room with a large TV, freeview, two large comfy sofas and a multi burnming stove. Kitchen provides oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven and a washer dryer, all electrical sockets are at worktop level. From the kitchen leads to a small porch way leading to a patio area where an outdoor table and chairs are provided. #From the living room, stairs lead to the two bedrooms and shower room, bedroom one consists of a king size bed with bedside lights. Bedroom two consists of two single beds and a pull out bed and a foldable travel cot, TV with DVD player and bedside light. Shower room has a shower and WC and a hand wash basin and an electric towel rail.
