Guests are in for a lucky suprise with this cosy cottage. Set within the area which 'roofed the world', so called because of the excellent quality of the local slate. This delightful cottage has been decorated and refurbished to a very good standard. The large inglenook fireplace makes a beautiful feature the living room providing a cosy setting for its lucky guests. On the doorstep of this holiday home are enough walks to last you the entire week along with a number of public houses waiting to greet you from your fun filled day in Blaenau Ffestiniog, 1ml. Along the top of the garden is where the Ffestiniog Steam Train makes it journey from Porthmadog to its final stop Blaenau Ffestiniog - so close you could shake the train conductors hand! Blaenau Ffestiniog is a small town host to some historic slate quarries which have now the amazing'Zip World (Titan)' and 'Bounce Below!' adrenaline rush attractions in North Wales. Enjoy local taverns, eating establishments and many shops. The harbour town of Porthmadog is 15 miles away with its bustling streets, shops, restaurants and popular harbour. The long sandy beaches of Morfa Bychan and Harlech are both 17 miles away. Enjoy the cycle route around Llyn Trawsfynydd (7ml) and Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin Ganllwyd (14ml).

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 21 days before the starting date of the holiday.
Please note: A returnable £100 Good Housekeeping Deposit will be required before we can give the key safe code. Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. Nearly all our guests are respectful people where the bond is fully returned. Steam train to Bleanau Ffestiniog and walk back; nice to do.Steam train to Porthmadog very pretty, can stop at Minffordd and walk 1 1/2 miles to Portmeirion. Conway castle and town worth a visit also Harlech and surrounding area. Local walk up the hill worth a look, waterfalls in full flow after rain."

Please claim this in the 'Additional Information' box that appears during the booking process and we will adjust the total before deducting the money from your card.
We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
