Just 60m to the beautiful sandy beach and sand dunes and a short stroll to the shops and restaurants in the town. 250m from the railway station on the Cambrian Coast line. The property is mostly on 1 level and offers 2 en-suite bedrooms and a large living room with a fully functional kitchen. The second bedroom is six steps lower than the rest of the flat. Barmouth has many returning guests that enjoy the stunning Snowdonia Mountain scenery around the Mawddach estuary. A variety of eating places locally from fine dining to award-winning fish and chips on the promenade. An eclectic collection of shops to investigate within the old historic town. Excellent cycle routes and footpaths. Our favourite is the Mawddach trail crossing over the iconic Barmouth rail bridge to the George III for a spot of liquid lunch or a drive to Cregennan Lakes and Cader Idris. Visit Harlech castle, Porthmadog steam trains and Portmeirion Italianate village all within 20 miles, or historic Dolgellau town and Torrent Falls only 10 miles away. Excellent accommodation in a fantastic location with beautiful views.

The view of the beach was excellent and the apartment was fitted with everything we needed, as well as thoughtful little extras such as a sewing kit, foil and cling film. The whole place was clean, attractive and convenient. Sadly, the stairs running down to the second bedroom mean that we will not be able to come next year when my grandson will be learning to walk."

We had a great trip on the Ffestiniog railyway to Porthmadog and back with lovely views of the countryside. The choice of restaurants in Barmouth was impressive. The Bank was the best, we ate there twice! Bistro Bermo was very good, needs to be booked in advance. The Anchor cooked beautiful steak. The Last Inn - don't be fooled, this was no ordinary pub grub - I've run out of space but it was a great week."

We found everything we needed plus a bitmore and would recommend the apart to anyone seeking a relaxing time away from home. The best time here was had by Chester, our dog, who loves running among the sand dunes and playing on the beach. If the ongoing refurbishment ends up like the current apartment then this is going to be a very popular place to come to as word is going to get around. Mrs C (February, 2019): "Home from home, everything you could wish for, a credit to the owners, even down to a hairdryer. Having a lift to the apartment was superb and very secure. Loved the decor the paintings on the walls, the little touches of lanterns, bird and shells. Views from the apartment were lovely, watching the dogs playing in the dunes, the snow on the hills, the work men removing the sand which the winter storms had brought in. A great base to visit nearby castles and beaches. All in all a great holiday. Would highly recommend."

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Parking on the street to the front. Allocated parking to the rear planned for 2019. Access along concrete footpath to ramp to the front door. There is a lift to the apartment. Living room and bedroom with Jack and Jill shower room on this level. 6 steps down to the second bedroom with super king or twin beds and ensuite bathroom. Emergency exit to the rear via spiral staircase. No disabled aid for emergency exit.
