A cosy, rural holiday retreat for those who want home from home comfort and convenience whilst enjoying this 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Attached to the owner's 215 year old converted chapel, it is situated in an elevated position with spectacular, unspoilt pastoral scenery and enjoys far reaching views including with Garn Fadryn mountain and Snowdonia (a 45 minute drive away) beyond. It is located 1.6 miles along a quiet country lane from the village of Botwnnog, 6 miles from the harbour village of Abersoch and 6 miles from the coastal village of Aberdaron. It is ideally and conveniently placed for walking numerous sections of the Wales Coast Path and for visiting many Neolithic and Bronze Age sites of interest in the area including Tre'r Ceiri where remains of 150 hut circles are to be found. Cyclists will be in their element exploring the country lanes and stumbling across secret smugglers coves and stunning sandy beaches. A footpath leads from the doorstep through countryside & woodland with breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay to the west coast with it's panoramic mountain ranges including Cadair Idris, leading eventually to Hell's Mouth beach (2.5 miles). A great choice for touring and exploring this delightful area of North Wales whatever the season. There' a small shop, butcher, choice of country pubs and petrol station in Sarn Mellteyrn (1.5 miles). Attractions in the area include National Trust's Plas Yn Rhiw house & gardens (2 miles), Whistling Sands beach (5 miles), Morfa Nefyn village, beach and golf course (8 miles), Nant Gwrtheyrn visitor centre (13 miles), Pwllheli market town and Marina (10 mls), Porthmadog harbour town and narrow gauge railways (24 mls), Snowdon and Beddgelert (30 miles).

LIVING ROOM: Kitchen area with full range of bespoke pine fitted units, granite worktop with Belfast sink, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Lounge area with gas log burner effect fire in original feature fireplace, flatscreen TV, CD player, hand made tiled flooring with rugs and views.
WC: Ground floor WC with hand wash basin.
GARDEN: Enclosed garden, patio area and seating with far reaching views most notably Snowdonia.
PARKING: Ample parking to the front.
HEATING: Gas log burner in lounge & partial central heating. Electric heaters in bedroom & lounge, heated towel rail in bathroom.

PETS: 1 well behaved dog. No cats allowed, sorry.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 14 days before the starting date of the holiday.
We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
