STS Grade 3+

Situated below the mighty Eifl mountain is a row of cottages, built at the turn of the last century in the historc fishing village of Trefor, on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. With three bedrooms, this terraced property has been very nicely prepared for couples or a couple with children, featuring a large garden with an outside dining room and a lawned area. There is a dramatic coastal path - with stunning sea cliff views - from the doorstep and a footpath up the mountian to the iron age village of Tre Ceiri. The small sandy beach and harbour is a quarter mile walk from the house - these gems are some of the Llyn's best kept secrets! The village, which has no through traffic, has a village shop/post office & 'Clwb Y Twr'- a bar. In the summer months porpoises, dolphins and seals can be seen along this coastline of outstanding natural beauty. A country house bar/restaurant for a relaxing drink, occasional entertainment and meals is in Clynnog Fawr (2 miles). The historic town of Caernarfon and market town of Pwllheli (both 10 miles) have a variety of shops, restaurants and inns. Caernarfon castle is a World Heritage site on the harbour and Segonitium Roman fort is on the outskirts of the town. A 20 mile drive takes you to Llanberis village and the begining of the Snowdonia mountains and the Snowdon Mountain railway - you can choose to walk up or take the steam train to the top. Choose from the beach in Trefor or any other private beaches tucked into the coves along this quieter part of the Llyn Peninsula.

Guest Comments:

M, F, E & B (September 2018): "Have had a wonderful week exploring the peninsula. We've never been before but will certainly be back again. So many wonderful beaches our dog has loved them too. Enjoyed walking some parts of the coastal path, all well sign posted and easy to follow. The cottage has been perfect for us, so many thanks to the owners for thinking of everything to make us welcome. One week was not enough!"
D, C & K the Dog (September 2018): "Lovely, clean, well equipped house with nice garden. Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of Wales. Thank you."
The B Family (August 2018): "Nice comfortable house with a big garden. We really enjoyed the local beach which is brilliant for crabbing. Another beach that we enjoyed was Harlech which is long and sandy. It is also really good for swimming, we also recommend Whistling Sands which is good for rock pooling and sandcastle building. Nearby there are also a few great castles. We visited Conwy and Caernarfon and enjoyed them both. We would also highly recommend climbing Snowdon which is both beautiful and dramatic. We climbed the Watkin Path, and you should also do the local mountains which tower over Trefor. Thank you for letting us stay in your house."
S & R Family (August 2018): "We will mis this little place. What a lovely house to call home for the week. We've had a great time exploring the hills above Trefor and its lovely beach and harbour. We've ventured all over the peninsula and had some great days out but it's been a pleasure to spend the evenings here. Diolch!"
S, P, B & Family (August 2018): "A fantastic holiday ! Treasured memories! Loved the house, so much room. Plenty of white fluffy towels. Beds so comfortable. Welcome pack extremely generous! Very kind of you indeed. Everything that anyone could ever want."
A & R (July 2018): "We had a great time during the two weeks that we stayed in the cottage. We have visted many places, but we also enjoyed the garden with our two mastiffs."
