Peace and quiet in this two bedroom, well equipped bungalow in a quiet cul de sac in Pentrefelin - 'The Village with a Mill' - between Cricieth and Porthmadog. This single storey property is tastefully decorated with quality furniture and a lovely sun room with garden access. Enjoy a glass of wine in the tranquil garden or snooze in the conservatory during the afternoon sun - this bungalow is very calming and will make you feel refreshed. There is parking for 2 cars on the drive and 1 car can be parked within a few feet of the front door. There are rights of way down to the beaches at Cricieth & Black Rock Sands from the village (although we cannot recomend these routes for parties with young children and the OS 1:25,000 Exploer Map is recomended) - we recomend to either drive the 5 minutes to Cricieth or 10 minutes to Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands) beach. Conveniently located between Porthmadog (2.5 miles) and Cricieth (2 miles), both towns flaunting great restaurants, pubs, shops, beaches and the famous Cadwalader ice cream. A must-do is the coastal footpath between the two towns through beautiful Borth y Gest, stopping at the Cockle Shedstudio on the wharf for an unique memento of your time here. Porthmadog is a harbour town where children young and old go crabbing - it has many shops, supermarkets as well as the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway. Close by is Portmeirion Italianate village (6 miles) with its spectacular gardens and fine dining. For a little bit of adrenaline head towards Blaenau Ffestiniog to the slate caverns and take part in Bounce Below or Zip World's Titan - the first 4 person zip line in Europe. Fishing and daytime cafe at Eisteddfa Fishery in Pentrefelin (0.5 mls).

WiFi: No but there are cafes, pubs and Porthmadog leisure centre offering free WiFi.

Mini-break Rules for this Cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at medium notice of 14 days between Easter and October Half Term. Outside of this time mini-breaks are bookable 56 days before the holiday.
Please note: A returnable £100 Good Housekeeping Deposit will be required before we can give the key safe code. Our experience shows that this procedure results in an all round better holiday for everyone, as our holiday home owners are prepared to offer better quality properties for guests and all guests fully respect the property and so make manageable the process of preparing the property for the next guest's full enjoyment. Nearly all our guests are respectful people where the bond is fully returned. If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
