Extremely comfortable bungalow in a small quiet cul de sac in the village of Pentrefelin ('The Village with a Mill'), conveniently situated just 2.5 miles from Porthmadog and 2 miles from Cricieth. This single storey property is tastefully decorated in a contemporary style with comfortable furniture and a lovely conservatory/dining room with garden access. There is ample parking on the drive and cars can be parked within a few feet of the front door for the less abled. Pentrefelin is a small hamlet that has a very historical church hidden down a country lane. There are rights of way down to the beaches at Criccieth Black & Rock Sands from the village (although we cannot recomend these routes for parties with young children and the OS 1:25,000 Exploer Map is recomended) - we recomend to either drive the 5 minutes to Cricieth or 10 minutes to Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands) beach. Criccieth is a pretty village with some nice restaurants and a few shops dominated by a ruined castle above the sea. The views when you enter Cricieth are unforgettable. Porthmadog is a larger town than Cricieth and has a super store, leisure centre and many shops and eating places. Its star attraction is the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam trains that take visitors up into the snowdonia mountains. Convenient location for the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula, Portmeirion, Caernarfon castle and the harbour village of Abersoch. Fishing and daytime cafe at Eisteddfa Fishery 0.5 miles.

We have visited castles in Criccieth and Harlech (dogs allowed!) but were disappointed we didn't get to see Portmeirion (no dogs!) Our favourite places to eat were in Criccieth rather than Porthmadog, although we did go to Spooner's by the railway station. We had tasty and delicious meals at the Castle, The Poachers, Moelwyn, Swn y Mor. For a wet day a visit to the Lloyd George Museum is worthwhile. We also supported the starlight players in Criccieth with their comedy production of “Boeing Boeing”. They did very well indeed and we were able to purchase tickets on the night. Thanks again."

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Please feel free to call us to discuss your requirements.
On arrival at the bungalow there is parking for one car on the slightly sloping concrete driveway (with room for the second car on the quiet road) which levels at the top. This leads to the front door, which has one step, and also to the back entrance, patio area and back door- both have one stem up in to them. Automatic sensor light front and back of property, also street lighting at the front.
Once inside all rooms are on one level, apart from a small step between living room and conservatory.
The shower is above the bath. Patio area has seating, table and 6 chairs.
