A lovingly prepared quarryman's terraced stone 19th century cottage in the village of Penygroes, 5 miles from Snowdon and 4 miles from the award winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle. Attractively presented with a cosy lounge / diner and large kitchen with breakfast bar downstairs and two bedrooms and a fully fitted bathroom upstairs. To the rear is a long sunny garden with 13 slate steps with patio area. Village shops, pub and fast food restaurants within walking distance. Welsh Highland Railway station is 3 mls for trips into the mountains, Beddgelert and Porthmadog. Down the road is historic Caernarfon town (7 mls) where there is a medieval castle, harbour and old town to explore. Eating out in Caernarfon is great fun because of the eclectic mixture of places to eat in the walled old town. Take a flight over Snowdon from the little airport on the beach in Dinas Dinlle near Caernarfon. For those who have the energy Snowdon can be climbed from Llanberis (6 mls) or let the 'train take the strain' on the famous Snowdon Mountain Railway. Zip World at Bethesda (30 mins), Surf Snowdonia at Conwy Valley 45 mins). This is a great central location for touring, beaches and walking the hills and mountains.

Mini-break rules: A mini-break is a holiday for less than 7 nights and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Friday). In season (April to end of October), this property will accept mini-breaks 31 days before the start date of the holiday, and bookeable anytime out of season (November to end of March).

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Street parking near the front door is usually possible. One small step into the open plan lounge/diner, cottage staircase from loungeto upstairs landng. All internal doors are of standard width. The kitchen is to the rear of the property and access to the garden is from the kitchen. There are 13 slate steps in total to the end of the garden, 5 slate steps to a raised patio area. All bedrooms and bathroom are up a flight of 13 steps which are slightly narrower and steeper then modern staircases with a bannistair ont he left hand side going up the stairs. Bunk room is to the front of the property and the double bedroom is to the rear. Bathroom/wc in the middle. Hypo allergenic bedding and mattresses.
