This Glan Gwna chalet has a sunny decked area with furniture surrounded by woodland. Situated just outside the Royal town of Caernarfon (2ml) on the edge of the village of Caeathro this is an excellent location for being close to everything. Caernarfon castle and Snowdon mountain are just down the road from this select chalet park. All the holiday homes are privately owned and only a few are let out to guests. It is always peaceful here when we visit, even in the summer. The children enjoy having some freedom to roam the lanes and with the river and lake it is a great opportunity to get close to nature. Within a 10 minute walk there is a small restaurant, shop, take away and open air swimming pool. This three bedroom chalet is comfortably prepared with leather corner suite and flat screen TV. Ideal for families and couples wanting to come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the prestigious Glan Gwna holiday retreat in the Snowdonia national park . In peak season, live entertainment is available. Close by is Snowdon (6ml) and the lakeside village of Llanberis, where there are plenty of walks, pony trekking at Waunfawr (3ml), steam train rides up Snowdon and through the valleys. Caernarfon is a majestic town with a grand castle and walled town with small shops within. Award winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle is also only a short drive away (8ml).

Mini-break Rules for this Cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at medium notice of 14-21 days between Easter and Thanksgiving. Outside of this time mini-breaks are bookable 56 days before the holiday.

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Parking is to the side of the cabin and there are 2 steps up to the decked area. Access to the property is through patio doors straight into the open plan living room. All bedrooms and shower rooms are off the living room. All internal doors are of standard width.
