Truly spectacular scenery of Snowdonia surrounds this house in the Cwm Pennant valley. If you are looking to get away from it all and be at one with nature then you really cannot beat this house. Set within its own farmland, this proud farmhouse stands with views of mountains and rivers, making this a very special rural private house. A 3 mile walk will land you at Rhyd Ddu, the starting point for Snowdon - the tallest mountain in England and Wales. Porthmadog, 8 miles away, has a variety of shops and good eating places, two narrow gauge railways with steam engines, a golf course and pretty harbour. Beddgelert, 14 miles, Cricieth, 7 miles, with its castle, shops, restaurants, pebble beach and animal farm. For the nearest pub/restaurant, you will find The Goat inn and an Indian restauraunt, 5.5 miles in Bryncir. A great base for a family or group wanting to explore the wonders of Snowdonia.
3 BEDROOMS: Two Double bedrooms and one Single bedroom. Bed linen provided, please bring your own towels. Cot available but please double check what spec/bedding is provided before your stay.
BATHROOM: Electric shower over the bath, hand wash basin and WC.
KITCHEN/DINING AREA: Farmhouse style fitted units with electric hob, fridge, microwave and oil Stanley oven. Dining table and seating for 5 people and comfortable seating. Doors leading to decking area.
LOUNGE: Real flame electric fire, 28" TV.
UTILITY ROOM: Great for bike storage, freezer & washing machine.
WC: Separate WC and hand wash basin downstairs.
GARDEN: Enclosed garden surrounding the house. Spectacular mountain views, small decking area and small wendy house.
PARKING: Ample private parking.
HEATING: Oil central heating throughout.
PETS: One well behaved pet allowed. From April 2021 onwards, no new Bookings will be allowed with Pets.
LINEN: Yes (cot linen not included)
WIFI: This is a 'digital detox' property. There is currently no wifi connection. Please check your mobile service network coverage if it's a concern.
EXTRA: Phone signal is very weak here. Pay phone available for emergency calls.

The decor is quite dated but it suited the house and the immaculate cleanliness made up for that. The owners were available if we had any problems, which we didn't. The setting is amazing, well off the beaten track, and there are good walks from the door. It does take a while to get anywhere as the house is at the end of the valley but the views and seclusion were worth that small sacrifice. We would go there again."

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
