Lovely peaceful situation overlooking the lily pond and waterfall in the select holiday home village of Glan Gwna. Relaxing views through the patio doors and elevated patio of the woodland and waterfall as it gently cascades from the small fishing lake. This is a lovely location for families and couples with pets. Lots of walks and freedom to cycle the woodland lanes plus the village is central to Snowdonia being only a 3 miles from Caernarfon town (castle, harbour, shops, inns) and the coast, and 5 miles from Llanberis lake and steam trains and Snowdon mountain. It was refurbished in 2014 and offers a very comfortable place to stay for 2 adults and up to 2 children. It is within 5 minutes walking distance to the 'club house', seasonal outdoor swimming pool and shop. Dog owners and children love the freedom of the park with it's meandering river and stocked lake. It is always nice and quiet here and the private owners of the chalets and the park owners keep it immaculate. Down the road is historic Caernarfon town (2ml) where there is a medieval castle, harbour and old town to explore. Eating out in Caernarfon is great fun because of the eclectic mixture of places to eat in 'hole in the wall street'. The beaches nearby are sandy - Dinas Dinlle is an award winning stretch of beach, hill fort and sand dunes (8ml) and also take a flight over Snowdon from the little airport there. For those who have the energy, Snowdon can be climbed from Llanberis (6ml) or 'let the train take the strain'. The Welsh Highland Railway is by the castle in Caernarfon for a steam train ride to Porthmadog.

OUTSIDE: raised patio with table and chairs and nice view of the lily pond, waterfall and woodland. There is a post and rail barrier around the patio, however small children may get out and must be supervised at all times.
PARKING: Ample room in parking bays opposite the chalet, max 30m walk from the chalet.
WiFi: Not in the property, but there is in the reception area of the park.
PETS: Yes, two dogs (extra charge of £20).
FAQ: Access to the chalet is up 4 external steps. Otherwise it is all on one level inside.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Parking in bay opposite the property. The furtherst you would ever have to park is about 30m, but normally parking is about 5m. The surface is tarmac. There are 4 steps up to the patio and front door. The sliding patio doors have a step up of about 8 inches. The surface of the lounge and kitchen is tiled. The bedrooms are carpeted. The shower cubicle is 90cm quadrant with electric shower. There are no hand rails and the step up is 8 inches. Access to both sides of the double bed, but not wide enough for a wheelchair. Access only to one side of the bunk beds. Room in the bunk bedded room for a cot.
