What could be better than sitting on a riverside patio with the sound of the river passing below and surrounded by the impressive peaks of the Snowdonia National Park. This Beddgelert cottage is one of a row of pretty grade II listed cottages situated on the bank of the crystal clear river Gwynant as it meanders through this attractive village. The cottage retains its character as well as comfort and is only a stones throw from the villages attractive hump back bridge, inns and craft shops. Beddgelert is proud of winning 'Best Kept Village' awards. Porthmadog and its numerous sandy beaches 8 mls, Snowdon/Watkin Path 3 mls. Pony trekking (3 mls). This is an ideal place to relax after walking the mountains.

2 BEDROOMS: 1 Double bedroom and 1 Twin bedroom with two single beds. Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels and tea-towels.
BATHROOM: Bath, WC and electric shower over the bath.
KITCHEN/DINER: Attractive and modern with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
LOUNGE: TV with DVD and log burning stove.
GARDEN: Enclosed patio with access to the river plus a small garden to the front.
PARKING: Street parking.

NOTE: It has been commented by one mother of a toddler that this cottage was not suitable for toddlers. Please note that the cottage has a narrow steepish staircase from the lounge and that there are steps in the back garden. If you have a toddler please double check the description, photos and 3D tours to check that the property is suitable for you and your baby.

Mini-break Rules for this Cottage:
A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 7 days before the starting date of the holiday. However, Christmas and New Year week can be book within 56 days of the holiday.

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Access Statement

There is a level parking area to the front of the property. There is a level pathway from the pavement to Front door. The downstairs lounge and kitchen are all one level. There is a staircase to the bedrooms and bathroom. The staircase is quite narrow but it does have a sturdy banister. 

Bedside lights are available in both bedrooms and overhead lighting throughout the cottage. The patio area has outside lightning.

The rear patio area is on two levels access is by 3 steps from the back door of the cottage.

The lounge has a colour television with remote control and teletext there is also a video radio/cassette and CD players with remote control.
