There truly is something special about Beddgelert - the 'meeting' of the Colwyn and Gwynant rivers as they flow around majestic Snowdon. The purple heather covered slopes of the Snowdon foothills surrounds this terraced cottage in the village. Like most Cottages in this pretty location, Village Cottage is Grade II listed. The cottage has a light and airy modern feel with a large modern convenient kitchen and a spacious lounge. From the door there are many excellent walks, either up hills and mountains or along the rivers to mystical lakes. There are interesting pony treks locally, a copper mine to investigate, lakes to fish in, to boat upon, or picnic beside. This is a fine central location for enjoying both the mountains and the sea as the coast at Porthmadog is only 7 ml down the valley to the golden sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands. Betws y Coed, Swallow Falls and Conwy valley 15 ml.

2 BEDROOMS: 1 Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC, 1 bedroom with Bunk beds and 1 Single bed. Please bring your own linen and towels. Cot available.
BATHROOM: Bath and WC with shower over the bath.
KITCHEN/DINER: Electric ceramic halogen hob, eye-level double oven, 2 fridges (1 with freezer), microwave.
LOUNGE: Log burning stove in feature fireplace with Sky TV, DVD player and radio.

HEATING: Night storage heaters. Radiators heated by the wood burner.
ELECTRICITY & LOGS: Electricity included, logs and coal available locally at an extra charge.

EXTRA: EE is the only mobile phone network that will pick up signal in the village. Other networks will pick up signal once outisde of the village.

Mini-break rules: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. This property owner will accept mini-breaks all year round - bookeable at any time out of season (November to end of March), or within 56 days of the start date in season (April to end of October).

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Car parking is generally available outside cottage door.
There are four shallow steps to the front door and two from the living room to the kitchen/dining room.
The staircase is quite narrow with a sturdy banister.
Access to the bedrooms and bathrooms is very easy. There are bar-holds on the bath.
Lighting is very good in all areas.
