When location is paramount there is nowhere to beat Bath Cottage on the Aber foreshore a pleasant half a mile's walk from Caernarfon Castle and its historic town. Enjoy superb coastal views of the Menai Strait, Anglesey and the setting sun through the panoramic patio windows and from the full length balcony. Situated on its own with ample parking and an enclosed walled private garden, Bath Cottage is only yards from the waterfront where the old seawater swimming pool used to be. The steps down into the water remain to this day. The living room occupies the whole of the upper floor in this spacious building. Furnished in a contemporary minimalist style with a well designed fully fitted kitchen area, it has a large dining table by the windows and a relaxing lounge area with stylish wood fire. The ground floor has 3 spacious bedrooms and a wet room/wc. Additional ensuite facilities An Additional ensuite facility to the main bedroom is being - it will be up and running by 13th December 2019. There is space within the grounds to park a jet ski, boat and canoes etc.
Caernarfon foreshore on the Menai Strait is a few minutes' walk and the magnificent World Heritage Caernarfon Castle and walled town of Caernarfon are 15 minutes walk. Caernarfon Golf Club is also nearby, a scenic parkland course with lovely home made food in their restaurant. The restaurants, inns and shops in Caernarfon are tucked away in the narrow streets and the Welsh Highland steam train station is just by the harbour. There is a swing bridge for pedestrians and bikes to the town. Award winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle 7 miles, Anglesey 10 miles, Snowdon (Llanberis) and Snowdon Railway 10 miles.
3 BEDROOMS on ground floor: 2 King size bedrooms with King size beds (one of which is ensuite from 13th December 2019 - with shower over the bath), 1 bedroom with bunk beds or 2 singles (There is good head room between the bottom and top bunk to make these comfortable for adults). Bed linen and towels provided.
WET ROOM/WC on ground floor: with heated towel rail.
KITCHEN AREA: Contemporary with island and breakfast bar, 5 ring gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher.
DINING AREA: Large refectory table and 8 chairs and access to the large full length balcony overlooking the Menai Straits.
LOUNGE AREA: Superb area with full length patio windows, leather sofas and chairs and glass fronted fireplace, flatscreen TV and DVD. Access to the balcony.
UTILITY ROOM: washing machine, Tumble dryer. Ample storage for wet suits and walking gear.
HEATING: Electric heaters in bedrooms, lounge, dining area and heated towel rail in the bathroom. Starter pack of logs included.
PARKING: Ample parking within the grounds.
GARDEN: Gated walled garden with lawns, garden furniture.
1 PET ALLOWED £20 EXTRA CHARGE.
EXTRAS: Cot, highchair and stair gate at the property. An integral one at the top of the stairs and a stair gate for the bottom.
2020 Price Group: 23 for 6 persons. An additional 2 small children can be accommodated for an extra £50/ child sleeping in the top bunks, but please be aware there is only one shower room/wc in the property. For 2020 will include a new ensuite shower room in one of the king size bedrooms. Minimum rent £567
Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will accept mini-breaks outside school holidays in advance and within 21days in school holidays.

Always worth a trip on both Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railway no matter what the weather and Anglesey Sea Zoo is good for a wet day. Swallow Falls at Betws-y-coed absolutely spectacular after the large amount of rainfall this week."

Awesome outlook and views from the upstairs open plan kitchen and lounge and a home from home to explore the north of Wales. Kitchen well equipped, Lounge comfortable with a very good stereo to listen to chill out music and then sit out on a brilliant open and protected balcony to watch the sun set. Also the 3 bedrooms downstairs and wet room are comfortable well insulated and warm (especially when a storm hits as it did with our trip) A great value home just minutes walk away from Caernarfon but far enough away to be very private and quite. There is also a little history of this house and you can find images on line of what this place looked like 100 years ago as a public baths in the sea, and there is still evidence of the foundations on the shore, just in front of the home. Interesting stuff."

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. ACCESS STATEMENT: parking is by the cottage on grassy pebbly surface. There is a gravel path to the door via a gate. Standard size front door with tiled flooring. 3 bedrooms wet room /wc and utility room on this floor. open tread staircase with hand rail on rhs acscending top an open plan living room with wooden flooring and rugs. There is an integral stairgate at the top of the stairs and a stair gate for the bottom. Access to the balcony through patio doors.
