One in a row of listed cottages on the Vale of Nantgwynant side of this popular inland tourist resort at the foot of Snowdon. Cosy and tastefully furnished to match its period. The crystal clear river Glaslyn can be seen and soothingly heard from the patio. Small, attractive and built of local stone. Beddgelert, a picture postcard conservation village with its twin rivers and a hump-back bridge, draws its visitors throughout the year. Healthy, scenic walks, mountain climbing or rambling from its doorstep. Comfortably prepared.
1 BEDROOM: 1 Double bedroom. Bed linen and towels are not included - but are available to hire with some notice.
BATHROOM: Bath and WC with shower over the bath.
LOUNGE: Exposed beams and a stone fireplace with multi fuel/log burning stove, TV & DVD player, Freeview, bed settee, electric fan heater and night storage heater. Split level to bathroom.
KITCHEN/DINER: Modern and fitted with sliding patio door, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and under the counter fridge with small freezer in the top of the fridge (also night storage heater).
GARDEN: Sunny patio with table and chairs - with low wall and steps to the river.
HEATING: Night storage and electric heaters.
ELECTRICITY: Paid by card meter.
PARKING: Street parking on opposite side of the road. No problem usually.
PETS: No pets allowed.
LINEN: No - but are available to hire with some notice.
TOWELS: No - but are available to hire with some notice.
WIFI: Yes included.
EXTRA: EE is the only mobile phone network that will pick up signal in the village. Other networks will pick up signal once outisde of the village.

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 14 days before the starting date of the holiday.

If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. A listed cottage as part of a terrace next to the Gwynant River in Beddgelert. Approach is easiest from the bridge in the middle of the village. Take the A498 towards Capel Curig. After 400m, just after a small bridge, there is a row of cottages on the right by the river. Number 4 is clearly labelled. Parking is not allowed on the side of the road next to the property, though there are no signs or lines to indicate this. It is best to park on the opposite side, about 30m upstream where the pavement starts again. Be careful the road is a busy one. Downstairs is split level. A small lounge leads to a double door which has grab handles. 5 steps lead down to the kitchen/dining room. Halfway down there is the access to the bathroom. This has a small bath, with a shower above. At the back is a patio above the river. The bedroom is the only room upstairs and is accessed via a narrow twisting stairway from the lounge. There is no door, the staircase (which is also quite steep) leading directly to the room. There are two wall lights and 2 bedside lights.
There are plenty of plug sockets in the property.
Entrance is from a narrow pavement on the main road. A slate path is a small step down from the pavement & a single width front door leads through into the lounge.
Electricity is via electric cards/tokens, which are put into the meter based in a cupboard to the right of the front door. This is about 7 feet off the floor. There is a small step ladder in the cupboard below.
