A very comfortable, beachside first floor apartment in the pretty seaside village a mile from Porthmadog. Unrestricted view of the sea and mountains from the living room and kitchen diner. The living room and open plan kitchen and dining room are on the same floor as two of the three bedrooms, as is the bathroom. The third bedroom is on the ground floor (useful for an elderly relative) with WC and hand wash basin next door. Borth y Gest is a tranquil village where there is no through traffic and its more discerning visitors just come here to relax and enjoy the coastal walks and beautiful scenery. Around the headland and within easy walking distance are other sandy beaches and coves. Meticulously prepared with your comfort in mind, this fine property is guaranteed to give you an excellent and most enjoyable holiday. The village has a tea room, coffee shop (recommended!) and two Bistros and an old fashioned petrol station/garage. From the doorstep there are excellent views, cliff and coastal walks as well as plenty of hill walking. Playground for the children and a nature reserve. Across the tidal bay and estuary is Portmeirion peninsula, Harlech castle and the majestic Snowdonia mountains. Beddgelert and Snowdon are 8 miles away. This is a great central location for a holiday property in North Wales.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Please feel free to call us to discuss your requirements.
There is 1 bedroom on the ground floor with a tiny cloak room next door which has a WC and handwash basin. The central heating boiler is also in this room and sits on the wall above the toilet. The narrowish stairs to the first floor has a hand rail on the right hand side. The last 5 steps has no wall or hand rail on the left hand side. Once on the first floor the living room/kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms are all on the same level except for a step down to the top of the staircase between the living room/kitchen and bathrooms to the bedrooms. Shower is above the bath. All showers/bathrooms have handles. Parking is on the street with a community carpark just the other side of the road which is free and un-restricted.
