Guest Feedback:

Ms C (October 2021): 3 STARS "Efficient and friendly service. Satisfactory but sofa had seen better days and bathroom door didn't lock. Generally just a bit shabby and in need of a some refurbishment. Kitchen was fine." Thanks for the Feedback which will be forwarded on to the Property Owner.
Mrs Baxter (August 2021):  Excellent We had a great stay,Lovely view of the Estuary and the Ffestiniog Railway everyday.A good place to people watch.A great place for local attractions and Beaches within a thirty minute drive. Borth y Gest a fifteen minute walk from accommodation to a picturesque village and hidden beaches.pre book restaurants in advance struggled to get in to places to eat without reservations in Porthmadog. For a family holiday an excellent place to stay.
G Family (July 2021): Excellent "Lovely apartment, perfect size for family of 4 and just down the steps into the harbour and 5 minutes into the town"
Dr V (July 2021): Excellent "Great location (Captain's Rest). Superb kitchen. Lovely view (see pic) from the balcony. Well located for lots of things to see around. Free Wifi. Lots of cutlery, pots and pans. We were 3 adults so didn't feel crowded. We were also helped by the weather being bright and sunny (30 degree). Con- TV didn't work (not much of a disadvg if the weather is so good)."    We have passed on the comment about the TV to the property owner. We ask that all faults are reported ASAP so that they can be rectifed. With TVs it is normally a simple problem or if necessary, we can buy a new TV.
Mrs D (July 2021): Good "Position was great. Parking was a little difficult at times."
Dr F (July 2021): Good "Lovely flat in an excellent position with stunning views. Extremely well equipped. Sadly not very clean on our arrival, we had to wash all cutlery, dinnerware and cooking equipment before using it. Pretty disappointing when we left the flat much cleaner than we arrived, especially with the current situation with covid."  Comments passed on to Property Owner's Deputy, note that they should have checked that the previous customer had cleaned these items properly. We are sorry that this happened. However, we know they are very busy with more than 1 property to attend to and with all the extra Covid precautions and sanitising.
S Family (June 2021): "Gorgeous little apartment in Porthmadog. Perfect location for the harbour and town. The little balcony made the experience as it truly felt as though we were on holiday! We enjoyed breakfast out there - and a few glasses of wine in the evening! Apartment is on a hill or up some steep steps (hence the great views) so those with less mobility may struggle. No designated parking - but there was no problem parking on the road outside. Apartment has all you need and was very clean and tidy. Comfy sofa and beds. Shower is a mixer - which took a bit of getting used to - but once we mastered it, it was lovely and warm and powerful. Would happily stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful north Wales. Diolch."
Ms C (May 2021):
Excellent " Beautiful place overlooking harbour with lovely decor and everything I needed at hand."
Mrs R (August 2020): Excellent "Excellent, even better than described. The view is amazing, hills, harbour, river, Cob etc. It would have been nice to have more space to view it from but the photographs and descriptions are very clear. In fact we had more space on the balcony than we expected and all four of us ate outside several times. We loved the town and the surroundings are wonderful"
The H Family (July 2020): "We had a really lovely few days away. We found the apartment to be very clean, comfortable, well equipped, absolutely loved the views and think the balcony is a great addition. Great location too. I spent many an hour sitting on the balcony watching the comings and goings of people, boats, trains and the tide!"

Inspected March 2020.
Visit Wales Comments:
