Very comfortably furnished holiday home for those wanting a comfortable stay for relaxing and enjoying the views of Moel y Gest mountain and exhilarating walks on the 4 miles of sandy beaches and cliff top walks and scenic Moel y Gest mountain (1 ml). A challenging 18 hole golf course, stocked fishing lake, a shop, hotel and fast food restaurant are within walking distance. Sailing, fishing, wind surfing and water sking are allowed off Black Rock beach. Snowdonia mountains at Beddgelert (9 mls), Abersoch and the Llyn Peninsula 30 mins drive. Porthmadog is a small town with a variety of shops, inns and restaurants, steam train rides and leisure centre (2 mls). Cricieth beach & castle (5 mls), Harlech castle (10 mls), Portmeirion 'Italianate' styled village (2 mls). Excellent central location for enjoying Snowdonia, North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula.

Mrs E (October 2019): "What a wonderful property! Large front room, with conservatory. Massive sofa and chair, wicker conservatory furniture, large dining table. The TV in the front room is massive, I don't just mean large, I seriously mean it's massive. Lovely size kitchen with everything you need, including good quality cooking utensils, sharp kitchen knives, mixing bowls, plenty of pots and pans. Kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, fan assisted oven and electric top. 3 bedrooms, 1 large double, 1 twin room which can also become a double bedroom and the last is a bunk bed room. All very clean, plenty of storage and each with a TV. The shower is powerful and gets really hot which is a huge plus for me. Dog friendly and very secure for dogs which may have the habit of trying to escape ( which luckily ours don't!) Parking for 3 cars out front. A lovely setting, about a 5 minute walk from the Black rock beach. Only complaint is there was only 1 towel ( which wasn't a problem as we take our own,) and that we would have really appreciated a pint of milk in the fridge, but again not a problem as there is a shop just up the road. I would happily stay here again and most definitely use STS holidays to book with again too."

Mini-break rules at this property: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice in season (April to end of October) - not more than 21 days before the starting date of the holiday. The owner will accept mini-breaks not more than 56 days before the starting days of the holiday outside of the season (November to end of March).
We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner.
