A window full of mountains and the smell of the surf - this house ticks a lot of boxes! There are magnificent views of Moel y Gest mountain through the large double glazed bay windows of most of the rooms in this this impressive semi-detached house in Borth y Gest village. Prepared in a contemporary style to compliment the period when it was built almost 100 years ago, the house displays quality and pride. The rooms are spacious and very comfortably furnished with many homely features and modern conveniences to make your family holiday a relaxing one. As you drive down the oak lined village road to Borth y Gest you see glimpses of this attractive village on the beautiful coastline of Snowdonia. This house is in a grand elevated position as you enter the village. The sweeping bay and sandy beach is 100m from the door with other sandy beaches and coves to discover along the coastal footpath. Beautiful Borth y Gest is a quiet village a mile from the harbour town of Porthmadog. The village has tea rooms and restaurant, however, in Porthmadog you will be spoilt for choice of shops, restaurants, steam trains and leisure centre. Snowdon/Beddgelert is a 20 minute drive, Portmeirion is 3 miles, Cricieth is a 15 minute drive and Harlech is a  30 minute drive.

4 BEDROOMS: 1 Kingsize bedroom with views, 1 Double bedroom with views. 1 Twin bedroom to rear and 1 Single bedroom to rear. Bed linen provided but please bring your own towels and tea towels (or are available to hire).
BATHROOM/WC: Bath, WC and shower over the bath.
WC: Ground floor WC with hand wash basin in under stairs space.
KITCHEN: Stylish kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
LOUNGE/DINER: Spacious lounge with views of Moel y Gest, ample seating around a wood burning stove; dining area with extendable, solid oak refractory table.
SITTING ROOM: Cosy seating with views of Moel y Gest, Freesat TV & DVD.
GARDEN: Elevated garden with furniture accessed by 9 steep-ish steps (not suitable for unaccompanied toddlers or infirm), mostly enclosed with wooden fence except for the top of the steps. Small decked area to the front with furniture and views of Moel y Gest. BBQ behind house.
PARKING: Unrestricted street parking.
HEATING: Centrally heated throughout.
WiFi: Yes, free.
Access to the front door is via a flight of 10 steps.
PET: No - the owner has pet allergies, however their cockerpoo dog occassionally stays at the property with them.
TOWELS: No, but available to hire at £10 per person.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Access Statement 

1061 is a semi-detached house situated above the road. There are 10 steps of 8'' risers to the front door with a handrail on the right hand side.. Parking is on the road side to the front of the property or nearby. All doors are standard size.

There is a ground floor WC and HWB which is compact at 4.5ft x 3ft in a space under the stairs.

All bedrooms are on the 1st floor as well as the family bathroom. To the front there is a wooden decked area of 12ft square and to the rear there is a slate/paved patio area (25ft x 12ft) accessed up 10 slate steps.

The shower is above the bath, which bath does not have a handle grip.
