New for 2019 : New double bed
Mrs D (October 2019): "Lovely and warm, well equipped, conveniently placed to walk to porthmadog high street and to drive further afield."
R Family (August 2019): "We found that everything we needed was here. Really comfy beds, super shower and all warm and cosy."
D Family (August 2019): "Spacious apartment. We found everything we needed was here."
M & JD (August 2019): "Very comfortable here and relaxing."
Miss D (August 2019): "All was well except too many units in the kitchen area..Surfeit of table mats and trays given only for four otherwise handy location. Shame not a more private sitting out space"
Mr R (May 2019): "The property has everything you would need and want. Spotlessly clean and well presented. There is possibly too much furniture, but that adds to the character. For fans of steam railways, the property is perfect. We were able to use both the Welsh Highland and the Ffestiniog, being 3 mins walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Level Crossing apartment. Thank you"
Mr T (April 2019): "We had a perfect weeks holiday which was made better by the lovely weather we had that week and we would definitely look to return and or use yourselves again. We will unreservedly recommend STS Holidays to family and friends in the future. Thank you once again"
"Mrs H (April 2019): "Excellent central but quiet location and nearly everything you need. I couldn't find a can opener or kitchen tongs but these are minor issues. The main suggestion I would make is it could do with a grab rail in the bathroom as there is nothing to hang onto when you get out of the bath. There is a lot of clutter on most of the surfaces in this property and I had to move the reed diffusers as my husband has an allergy to them."
Mr C (April, 2019): "The apartment was in a great location and was clean and welcoming on arrival kitted out with all the essentials for a great weeks holiday."
Mr M (July, 2018): "This was a nice little flat in a good location and very handy for local shops and transport links. Having an allocated parking spot outside was handy, though it was quite awkward to get in and out of. The underfloor heating was effective once it had time to warm up and we had got used to it. Beds were not all that comfortable The flat had a nice little bathroom, and the shower worked very well." Reply:Thank you for your kind comments. We have now replaced the double bed and hope to welcome you back soon.
Mr J (May, 2018): "We recently stayed for a week, and I just wanted to say that it suited us perfectly. We are grateful for the care you took to identify a place where we could be confident that our son was safe, and we are seriously minded to book it again"

As this apartment is all on the ground floor all rooms are easily accessible for older people, those with mobility problems, and for families with young children. Parking is in a gated courtyard close to the front door, and there are also two other French doors. One of those opens onto the parking area.
The gate to the courtyard is operated by an electronic key fob and wheelchair access to the courtyard is also via this gate. There is separate pedestrian access to the apartment. One is open and level but not ideal for wheelchairs as the surface is gravel.
From the apartment such attractions as the Harbour, the Ffestiniog Station and the main shopping street are just a few metres away.
Additional units in the kitchen may have slightly restricted access via the French doors. Bathroom now has handrails.
