It is quietly situated behind Porthmadog high street, only 2 minutes away from the harbour and the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland steam railways station. Porthmadog offers a good selection of shops and restaurants, all within walking distance from this property, and there are interesting scenic walks within 5 minutes of the accommodation. Excellent choice of beaches at Borth y Gest (1 ml) or Black Rock Sands (2 mls). Portmeirion village (2 mls), Harlech castle (9 mls), Snowdon mountain (7 mls), Zip World: Titan (15 mls) and Cricieth town and castle (5 mls) are amongst many favourite places to visit whilst on holiday in Porthmadog.

Mini-break rules: A mini-break is a holiday for less than 7 nights and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. In season (April to the end of October) and Christmas holidays, this property will accept mini-breaks 56 days before the start date of the holiday. Mini-break are bookable anytime out of season with minimum rent of £457 in 2021 and £507 in 2022.

Mr B (Sept. 2021): "A nice holiday apartment in a good location let down by poor house keeping .on arrival put kettle on ,got cup from cupboard , found cup with large crack and badly tea stained , bath room had black mildew around bath tub , shower mat also had black mildew ,all rooms fitted with ceiling down lights many of which did not work ( one in the living room ,bedroom and bathroom } cooker hood has two lights only one working ,. apartment very cluttered for example out door table and chairs stacked up between the dining table and window making it very difficult to access window blind." Sorry about what was found. Please could we be informed about such issues as soon as you are able to in future - as often matters such as these can be resolved - some can be resolved immediately. We will pass the comments on the Property Owner and the Deputy. We will contact the current Guests and ask them if there is anything that they would like to attend before their departure.

"Mrs H (April 2019): "Excellent central but quiet location and nearly everything you need. I couldn't find a can opener or kitchen tongs but these are minor issues. The main suggestion I would make is it could do with a grab rail in the bathroom as there is nothing to hang onto when you get out of the bath. There is a lot of clutter on most of the surfaces in this property and I had to move the reed diffusers as my husband has an allergy to them."

Having an allocated parking spot outside was handy, though it was quite awkward to get in and out of. The underfloor heating was effective once it had time to warm up and we had got used to it. The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. As this apartment is all on the ground floor all rooms are easily accessible for older people, those with mobility problems, and for families with young children. Parking is in a gated courtyard close to the front door, and there are also two other French doors. One of those opens onto the parking area.
The gate to the courtyard is operated by an electronic key fob and wheelchair access to the courtyard is also via this gate. There is separate pedestrian access to the apartment. One is open and level but not ideal for wheelchairs as the surface is gravel.
From the apartment such attractions as the Harbour, the Ffestiniog Station and the main shopping street are just a few metres away.
Additional units in the kitchen may have slightly restricted access via the French doors. Bathroom now has handrails.
