P & D Clarke, 6th - 13th of June, 2015
A years hard work needs time away
Where shall we go for a holiday?
Another country "with stunning views"
Wales! It is nearest, it will have to do.
A chance remark from a friend we met
and within days we booked a holiday let.
Now we've arrived the prospects are bright
We're delighted to be staying here by day and by
The apartment itself is really top drawer
We've thought long and hard but couldn't ask for more.
We've been warm and cosy and enjoyed all the views
And with telly to watch we've kept up with the news.
We'll be leaving tomorrow - we're so sad to go
Back to the cares and routines we've come to know.
However, dear friends, We've rich memories in store
of Wales, Porthmadog, 66c and much more.
So - here's to the next time - CHEERS
