A bright and light South Snowdon Wharf villa with a 1st floor balcony overlooking the harbour and town of Porthmadog. Only a 5 minute walk from the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and the high street (which includes pubs, cafes and restaurants) making this a very convenient place to stay to explore Snowdonia or just for a beach holiday. The comfortable living room with fitted kitchen and one bedroom are on the first floor with patio doors to the spacious balcony. Two other bedrooms and the bathroom and separate toilet are on the ground floor. Short walk to the shops and restaurants and leisure centre. Just around the corner is the little Ffestiniog Steam train station when you can enjoy a sedate train ride up the Snowdonia Valley. Many sandy beaches are nearby - our favourites are Borth y Gest, a 15 minute walk, and Morfa Bychan's Black Rock Sands (2 mls). Visit the pretty village of Beddgelert (7 mls), Portmeirion village and gardens (2 mls). Zip World: Titan and Bounce Below in Blaenau Ffestiniog is just a 30 minute drive away.
2 BEDROOMS: 1 Double bedroom on the ground floor, 1 Twin bedroom with two single beds - both on the ground floor. Bed linen is now included - please bring your own towels and tea towels.
SHOWER ROOM: Walk in shower, hand wash basin & heated towel rail.
WC: Separate and next to the bathroom on the ground floor.
LOUNGE/DINER: Upstairs with a TV with built in DVD, CD player. Patio doors to the balcony.
KITCHEN: Modern fitted galley kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, table top freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
PARKING: Allocated parking for 1 car outside the apartment. Some people have managed to get 2 cars there, but some people say it is not pssible. There are also "unallocated" car spaces in the South Snowdon Wharf complex.
HEATING: Night storage heaters throughout.
PETS: 1 small dog. Since the new balcony was fitted there is a gap at the bottom of the rail a small child could slip/climb/fall though the gap.
WiFi: Free WiFi
F.A.Qs: Access is via the ground floor front door. The ladders that you can see in some pictures are decorative only. The property is not suitable for children under the age of 10

Mini-break rules: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day. In the season (April to end of October), this property will accept mini-breaks between 14 - 21 days before the start date of the holiday. Out of season (November to end of March), this property will accept mini-breaks 56 days before the start date of the holiday.

Our 6th year at Snowdon Wharf, the 1st with a dog, so thank you for allowing a pet into your home. The weather was amazing (the best ever) so we enjoyed a lovely walk from Tan y Bwlch to Penrhyn beach (traeth bach) to Morfa Bychan, an easy walk, Criccieth and Morfa Nefyn (the beach at the RNLI station was beautiful). Two trips to Coed y Brenin and messing about around Ballast Island completed our week. We will be back!"

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture if you have moved them, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: In most cases, bookings that are for less than 7 nights in the season (Easter to the end of October) are only bookable at short notice. Out of season (November to last week before Easter) is more flexible. The mini-break rules for each property is stated on the description. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. The flat is a purpose built holiday property within a private complex. Approach is from a main road into tarmac drives throughout the estate. It is not suitable for anyone who has severe mobility issues.
The designated parking is suitable for one vehicle and is in a well-lit area just 10yds from the property. Access to the flat is on the ground floor, but there is a step up to the property (photo of step available upon request).
The flat has a standard size plastic front door leading into a compact hall area. From this area there are doors to the twin bedroom, WC, bathroom and double bedroom. Also in this area is the staircase to the 1st floor.
On the 1st floor is the kitchen/dining area and lounge area with a sliding patio door to the balcony. For safety reasons children should not be left alone on the balcony. There is good lighting throughout the property with both a ceiling light and a lamp in the living area and spotlights and matching bedside lamps in the bedroom.
The bathroom has a bath and a hand wash basin. Seperate WC. Again there is good light with a ceiling light in each.
