1 MEZZANINE BEDROOM with a Double bed (access up steep ship's ladder with a hand rail on both sides). Bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels.
SHOWER ROOM/WC: With electric shower (downstairs).
LOUNGE AREA: Comfy bedsettee and cuddle chair, wood burner and TV/DVD.
UTILITY ROOM: Direct access to the shared utility room with use of Washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and drawer in the freezer.
PARKING: Ample parking by the cottage.
HEATING: Night storage heating, electric radiators and two log burner.
ELECTRICITY & HEATING: Included. Logs available, by arrangement (£6 per bag).
PET: Well behaved pets that are not tempted by sheep which graze up to the front door. Dogs must be controlled at all times.
WATER: The cottage has it's own supply of mountain spring water which is filtered and UV treated.
NOTE: You are a good 15 minutes drive away from civilisation. Take everything you need for the first day. Warm clothes and sturdy boots are essential up here - even in the summer.
ACCESS: The mountain track has reeds growing in the centre, there are 5 gates which are normally closed narrowest gate is 2.3m. The gateway is wide enough for a normal car (Honda CRV, Ford Focus and Vauxhall Corsa was ok). It is recommended to come in a 4x4, but our cars and the owners saloon have made it everytime with care. Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at medium notice of 21 days between Easter and October half term. Outside of this time mini-breaks are bookable 56 days before the holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. High up in the mountains in a 500yr old converted storehouse. Crog loft bedroom up a steep ladder. Access is by a 1/2 mile track through fields. Not for the faint hearted. Country lovers only!
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as access is on uneven ground and the bedroom is reached only by a steep ladder.
