We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.
The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.
After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.
No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.
Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. The chalet was extensively renovated in 2000. It is a single storey building with a parking area at the side of the chalet for a least two cars. There is a flagged pathway leading to the front door with a single step up to this door which leads directly into the kitchen. The door is 77cm wide.
Other doors leading to the two bedrooms are approximately 66cm wide and the bathroom door is 60cm wide. These three doors all lead directly from the open plan living/litchen area.
Two patio doors lead to the deck from the living area and the first bedroom. As these doors cannot be opened from the outside they have never been locked as the process is unnecessary.
The deck area has a picnic table and is reached from the house itself or from the lawn by the use of three wide but not high steps.
All rooms are well lit and well sockets are available in every room. Sockets in the kitchen are at worktop height. Electric plugs for the washing machine and fridge are in the kitchen units near to each appliance but should not concern the occupier. Bedside lights are provided in each bedroom and there is an outside light to illuminate the deck operated by the middle switch of the three switches on the living room wall.
Ocuppiers may think that the hot tap to the kitchen sink does not work properly. It is perfectly serviceable and should only dribble of water emerge from the tap, it is because of low pressure, especially when the area is full of holiday-makers.
The shower in the bathroom is an over-bath shower, the power switch is suspended from the ceiling over the bath.
