This little gem is very comfortably prepared and situated right on the coast, 2 miles south of Harlech, in the small hamlet of Llandanwg. There is a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and Lleyn Peninsula from the lounge, main bedroom and garden. although the beach is only a stones throw away from the garden it is a short 8 minute walk to the sandy beach which is the only beach included in the Snowdonia National Park. The mountains of Snowdonia dominate the skyline to the north and east. Mountain, hill and valley walks are just on the doorstep. A local favourite is 'The Roman Steps' weaving between peaks into the territory of the hare, wild goat and buzzard. Harlech (2ml) is a small town with a theatre, leisure centre, golf course and impressive castle. Barmouth (6ml), a harbour town situated in the most picturesque location with a small funfair. Porthmadog (10ml) home of the steam train rides through Snowdonia, Portmeirion village and shops. N.B. 'Bont Briwet' is now open for a quick journey to Porthmadog (July, 2015).

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. Parking for two cars by the side of the property.
Front Door Access: step into porch, small step over threshold (2 steps).
Kitchen Door: one step to side garden.
Patio Door From Lounge: 2 steps onto patio.
Garden Area: steps down onto lawned area
Doors: internal and external doors are all standard sizes.
Bathroom: this room is spacious with a corner bath. There are no bath handles but the owner is planning on fitting a handle on to the wall above the bath. ~
The bathroom at Swn y Dwr is almost opposite the door from the twin bedroom and there are no steps between the two rooms.
Shower room ensuite: This is a compact room. The shower cubicle is 8" high. The access into the shower is via a swivel door witha 20" gap.
Bedrooms: these are of modest size with room to walk around the double bed and room to walk between the two singles.
