The Studio occupies the whole of the ground floor of the old Porthmadog Custom House. The accomodation offers a comfortable welcome in a large hotel room style Bedroom with easy chairs, TV and views over to the Cob. A separate kitchen and bathroom gives a homely feel to this character filled flat. Available with the upper floors for additional guests or individually for a couple it offers superior accommodation in a convenient position for the town, train spotters and bird watchers. It is self contained and private from the upper floors, if required, only sharing the front door and hall. Take a short walk to the shops, restaurants and leisure centre. Just around the corner is the little Ffestiniog Steam train station when you can enjoy a slow sedate train ride up the Snowdonia Valley. The popular 'Spooners' cafe nearby is ideal for an afternoon coffee or a filling lunch! An ideal location for exploring the treasures of Snowdonia!

Mini-break rules at this cottage: A mini-break is a holiday for less than a week and/or may start on a day which isn't the normal changeover day (Saturday). This property owner will only accept mini-breaks at short notice - not more than 7 days before the starting date of the holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take our Cancellation Protection (see Terms & Conditions). If you continue you will notice that during the next booking steps this will automatically be selected for you and the price will increase, so simply de-select them on the bookings screen if you already have holiday insurance or if you do not want any cover.

The Pet Charge for all properties accepting pets is £20 per pet.

After your stay, we ask you kindly to please leave the property as it is found, in a clean and tidy manner. This includes replacing the furniture, emptying all internal bins, clean and put away plates etc., clean work tops and surfaces and hoover the floors.

No Smoking: We want all our guests to enjoy an odour free environment when they arrive at their property. We therefore prohibit smoking within the premises in ALL our properties. A 'Refreshing Charge' will be levied on guests who smoke in properties. A No Smoking Policy may form part of a property's statutory Fire Risk Assessment.

Mini-breaks & Weekends: Bookings that are for less than 7 nights are only bookable within 21 days (some properties are within a different amount of days) of the start date of the holiday. Weekend booking requests that do not start or end on a property's usual change-over day or cross over more than 1 week, are at the discretion of the property owner. The Old Custom House is a three story end of terrace stone building.
The approach is from a major road with a apavement, and small gate. There is a small front garden which has a slate path to the front door, with double garden seat. There is a self contained Studio Flat on the ground floor, which consists of a large bed sitting room with colour TV with remote control, Freeview and VCR.
There is also a fully fitted kitchen diner, where all electric socketss are at worktop level. a bathroom which has grab handles in the bath and shower. There is also a washer/dryer down two steps by the back door.
On the next two florrs there are two bathrooms with grab ahndles, and a lavatory on it's own with hand washing facilities. There are two double rooms with King size beds, bed lights, radio alarms and colour TV with freeview. There are three single rooms these have bedside lights and radio alarms. There is a drawing room with seating for seven, a colour TV with Freeview. A dinig room to seat 8 and a seperate kitchen with all electric sockets are at worktop level, there are plenty of lights over working arreas as well. This has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. it is also large enough to be able to serve breakfast in there. All windows are doubble glazed.
