- Osprey Project Glaslyn Bridge Visit the only nesting osprey site in Wales, just 4miles from Porthmadog. Osperys are normally around April to September and the volunteers on site will help you identify these majestic birds. BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend comes to Faenol Estate, Bangor, North Wales.
Chris Moyles announced the location of Radio 1's Big Weekend 2010.
The first act to be announced was Pixie Lott who sang live for Chris at the launch event. Loads more artists will be announced in the next few months. 20,000 tickets per day will be made available to the public.
