There is a sandy beach with a refurbished Victorian pier, a small 'Welsh Mountain' Zoo at Colwyn Bay, Llandudno has much of interest, Victorian pier and tram, Great Orme and shops. The castle and harbour town of Conwy (3ml) is where the Snowdonia mountains meet the sea. Good pony trekking available from Conwy.
