Glorious tranquil countryside and occasional farmsteads surround this very attractive shepherds' cottage; one of a pair standing on their own by a quiet country lane in the beautiful and quiet upper valley of Cwm Teigl, 2km from the village of Llan Ffestiniog in the Snowdonia National Park. Comfortably prepared in a traditional mountain cottage style with double glazed windows full of countryside views with sheep and lambs grazing up to the garden wall! Plenty of space and fresh air for the children to enjoy just running free with a river at the bottom of the lane to try some jam jar fishing. The impressive Manod Mawr mountain sets a stunning backdrop to the cottage; below the Vale of Ffestiniog rolls down to a fantastic vista of the sea at Porthmadog. Excellent fishing and numerous public footpaths to glorious hill walks from doorstep. Tourist attractions include the Little Ffestiniog steam train winding it's way up the Ffestiniog valley, massive underground Slate Caverns, Hydro Electric stations hidden in the mountain, pony trekking, golfing and super sandy beaches at Harlech & Porthmadog, 20 mins drive.
